“Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

“I had high expectations going here and the food surpassed them with ease! This will probably end up becoming my favourite local restaurant and there is some good competition in the area, so it says a lot! Prices are very reasonable and the place looks great as well, they have put a lot of effort into bringing this place to life! The only downside is that there are nowhere near enough seats because this place will get very popular very soon! I will be eating here again as soon as I can, and so should you!”

“Can’t fault this place. Popped in for lunch and had their “special”. The mixed doner was excellent. The chicken was marinated and tasted much better than the usual bland stuff one usually gets. Service was top notch too with happy waitresses. Definitely recommended.”

You can tell they are very passionate about what they do and genuinely value their customers (both new and returning). Absolutely amazing food from starters to main, even the bread comes out soft, fresh & hot……the food was perfectly cooked to compliment the high quality of produce used…..I had liver starter & the mixed shish…..cannot praise the chef enough. “If you haven't eaten at Sunrise Cafè in Romford Shopping Hall yet then you're missing out! I help run a social club in Romford and this lovely little cafe is several of our club members favourite eatery. A family run business serving traditional Filipino cuisine that is so tasty that no words do it justice, but we're confident that you won't be disappointed if you go try for yourselves. Check out some pics of some meals that our members have recently enjoyed. We strongly recommend the mixed breakfast (pictured first).”

“Review during Lockdown, July 2020: Almost felt like normal to go back to a pub again. Lovely welcome at the door from member of staff who was the monitor. The young chap explained the way it works of how to order through app. Some issues of some of the tables not appearing in the app or tickets not being closed but as this a new process for everyone quite understandable and staff kept their cool so customer service was of high level. They have tables outside - front and back. Would recommend booking if there is more than 2 of you. If you are not appy savy or the app doesn't work they still allow you to order from the bar as the app is not perfect and receipts are slow to be processed. Otherwise its super clean at all times and social distancing is being adhered to if you are looking for safe pub visit for punters of all ages over 18. They have one way system and show which tables are clean for use, just make sure your table isn't blocked for pre-booking to avoid being moved as the seating is cleaned down again. Sanitising stations available and toilets were clean during our visit. 3rd August: Archers is taking part in the Eat out to help out so don't delay...book ahead or if your local then just stop by if the app isn't working. First night out and its sad to see not many people taking up this offer but hoping people will take the plunge and get back to "normal" as its not heaving like most people believe it will be. Archers even give you the VAT off your drinks! How much more of a bargain can you get! Tables are kept clean and toilets have a system if you are worried. Have a night out and support your local pubs :)”

“It's a cafe and very much as expected for cafe food! I'm rating a 5 because service is great and it's clean and welcoming. The portion size for approx £9/£10 is large and I took away half my meal for later in the day. The food is tasty. They provide a fresh salad. All around a better lunch than sandwiches from the co-op!”
