Aromas Artisan Cafe
● Open“The best cafe ever! The people there were lovely, taking good care to each and every person who walked in, holding the door open for buggies, giving doggy treats out for the pups and giving me a glass of water as I was heard coughing. The food was AMAZEBALLS! And I have finally found a decent place to eat vegan breakfast for my husband. The coffee was spot on! Everything was spot on!”

Perk Coffee Shop
● Open17 Delta Gain, Carpenders Park, Watford WD19 5BL, United Kingdom“I am a café addict, always on the lookout for a lovely café. In my humble opinion, the Perk Coffee Shop is a hidden gem that I have been lucky to find. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful. I haven't eaten here yet but have had coffee which was delicious. It has a great layout and is fairly spacious whilst still maintaining a cosy, boutique atmosphere. A charming independent business that deserves to flourish.”

Brooklyn Pizza Crew - New York Pizza
● Closed“Pizza, you can get a bit obsessive about pizza, the endless quest for the perfect pizza is akin to Arthur in holy grail or something. Brooklyn Pizza Crew understands that level of obsession, cheese is bang on, tomato good, base good and these combine to make an excellent pizza. Its not far off of a pizza from somewhere like Patsy's in New York which then means you have to then start trying to pick faults (surely there can't be a gold star pizza) so here is the only fault I can find... The base is not my personal 10 out of 10, it is VERY good but as with all subjective opinions its the only thing that stops me just moving to within walking distance of the shop. I also tried a vegan pizza, which was nice, though my continuous pizza quest standard choice is a margherita. As a brief side note, I had a short chat with Sebastian (owner) and he seems to be as into pizza as you could hope anyone to be, he was also very pleased that people are making the trip to come get pizza so go, go to the shop and get a slice, get a whole pizza, get a whole 20 inch pizza, it'll be worth it.”

Charles Holden
● Closed“Great outdoor space, very friendly to dog owners and families with young children as they even have a space for the little ones to keep themselves busy while adults can enjoy a nice, cold drink! The food is nice, average priced. Bit disappointed, no cocktails in the menu, even basic ones but maybe that is to be expected for a pub? We had a great time!”

-
Relish@BLC
● Closed“This cafe occupies a corner of Barking Learning Centre (an "up market" version of Barking Library) and is staffed mostly by local people who have learning disabilities, and are given training. The chef is professional and provides a good a la carte selection, as well as daily lunchtime specials. My favourite is the Relish Burger (comes as beef or veggie), but does tend to put too much salt on the chips (what any American cousins reading this would mistakenly call "fries"), so ask him to hold off (there are salt cellars on the tables!), which comes with a decent salad garnish. Not sure of opening hours, but closes mid afternoon. It can be booked for evening functions. Prices £-££.”
