London Psychotherapy & Counselling Service
Simon Garcia at GPS Therapy - Counselling and Psychotherapy in Radlett and Hertfordshire
Burnout Clinic
“Access bars is an excellent way to de stress, it really feels like your brain is getting a deep massage and releasing all the built up tension. It is a safe, effective and relaxing treatment. It helped me four years ago with my ongoing depression. I would definitely recommend that you try it out as I don’t think you will be disappointed.”
Olive Tree Counselling
“Samina is a warm, compassionate and caring therapist who consistently helped me to explore some of my difficulties and stresses of everyday life. I felt very supported by her.”
Willpower Therapy
“I have experienced hypnosis therapy before… I know feeling comfortable and trust is KEY to a good session. Will immediately put all anxiety at rest with a nice meet-n-greet before we got started. Then 10, 9, 8,…… off we went down the rabbit hole of discovery of reaching nuggets of knowledge that were locked away in the crevices of past lifetimes. The visions were accompanied with downloads of information with details presently playing out in my life so I won’t reveal the secrets but if you ever get a chance to book a session with Will, I personally recommend him as a mentor, coach & therapist. Am’aura McKinney”
U Matter Counselling
“A very warm and relax atmosphere where you are heard without any judgement.”
Robin Corner Counselling
“I would highly recommend Dean as a therapist for a person of any age. Throughout my CBT sessions my mental health has significantly improved in a short space of time. Prior to my first session, I felt anxious as this was my first experience of therapy but Dean is very calming and I immediately felt comfortable. Dean has a careful approach and always provides understanding; his support has helped me to think in much more positive ways for the future.”
Time2chill
“Lovely vegan lasagna and blueberry muffin. Took donuts as takeaway. Really enjoyed it. Will look forward to returning. Staff were really welcoming and friendly.”
The Family Centre
“This is a center I can't but rave about because they are doing so much for the community, low income earners, the vulnerable and those that need help one way or the other. This is a center with a food club, where you can come in to buy a week worth of food stuffs at £3.50. There is fresh meat as well. Are you struggling and you live around this environ. I would advise you go see them and the staffs are friendly & helpful. They also provide help by linking you up with with the organisation that would help you as regard your situation.”
Cognitive Behaviour Clinic
“We first took our 9 year old son to this clinic in August 2020 as our son had vitiligo on his face. Our son starting getting patches on his face during Civid lockdown in April 2020 and by August it had spread on one side of his face. From a very confident happy boy he sokn became very quiet, distant and unhappy. I very glad to say since treatment by Dr Nandra he has 70% of his natural colour on his face back and become a much stronger boy and he has his confidence back. He can now even talk about his Vitiligo and explain the disorder. I would highly recommend this clinic and we are so grateful to Dr Nandra.”
The Chelsea Psychology Clinic
“Having visited the Chelsea Psychology Clinic I can confirm they're a highly professional group with an extremely in-depth skill set, with extensively trained and experienced staff. Personally I wanted to work with a clinical Dr because I was not sure what support I needed, so wanted to ensure I worked with someone who was well versed in a range of therapies and had lots of experience in putting them into practice. If you are seeking help for any range of therapies, they are certainly worth contacting, as within my case they were very effective at getting the results I was after. A huge part of this is down to the Dr I was paired with understanding me and my needs and us having a good rapport. You will get what you are after more if you can relate to and trust who you are working with, rather than just being given a treatment, and not believing in it, so being paired with the best Dr for my situation was really beneficial for me. In terms of what to expect, private therapy is not a cheap endeavour wherever you go, and it generally takes several weeks to have a worthwhile effect. For me the important thing was that I got better, but it’s worth asking up front around costs / sessions required. There is also normally a small wait time as well if you are after certain time slots so maybe take that into consideration. Personally, I went through my private health care provider as it brought the cost down significantly for me, and I found the NHS wait times are often closer to 4 - 6 months, with a limit on the max number of sessions. Speak to them, ask questions, and work out what’s best for you. For me, the service was great, and I got the results I was after, but never expect these things to be a magic bullet - be patient and work hard.”

Lauren Calladine Counselling & Psychotherapy
“In 2017 at the age of 68 I found myself in a very dark place. I was stuck in a situation that I could see no end to and no light at the end of the tunnel. A close friend of mine recommended a counselling service that she had experience of. I contacted them and a appointment was made. I went to my first session full of apprehension, as I had never done anything like this before. I count myself very lucky to find Lauren had been assigned to be my counsellor. I found myself completely at ease, and I opened up immediately Over the coarse of the next few months, I attended weekly sessions with Lauren. Until I could see light at the end of that tunnel, and my life was getting better and better. Then we both agreed that I was ready to stop counselling. This was difficult for me at first, as I actually looked forward to my weekly sessions. But it was time to move on. But sometimes if I felt myself drifting back to the bad times, I would sit quietly, and think, what would Lauren say to me. It's over a year now since ,my last session, and my life has never been so good. Thank you Lauren .”
