“I am so grateful to have this shop on my road. It’s amazingly well stocked with a huge range of items and the guys who run it are genuine, good people who care about their customers. They have everything from fresh fruit and veg, loads of booze, brilliant larder items in addition to less likely items like tofu and nail scissors! Highly recommended.”

“The family was told of this place and we went for a visit to check what it was all about. The selection of items on sale was of a good range, more than enough for what you'd need I'd reckon. The place itself was in a good location, not far from South Quay, the interior was very modern, plenty of space to move around unlike some of oriental markets. The staff were nice and friendly, getting on with things. Only drawback, the prices were slightly above average due to I'm guessing the location. Getting here is easy enough, South Quay via Docklands Light Railway (DLR) would be your best option but Admirals Way (Stop B/U) if you're thinking of taking the buses via D8. If you don't mind walking, Canary Wharf via Jubilee, over South Quay Footbridge is also a route. Deffo will give it another visit if nearby.”

“Delicious as usual! I've been ordering from Tang's for 11 years (order every 2/3 months) and definitely my favourite Chinese takeaway in the whole of Edgware and Mill Hill. The large vegetable spring rolls are my favourite and have a fragrant flavour. The sesame prawn toast and mushroom balls are delicious too. The beef chow mein and mixed vegetable chow mein are very good in sauce and flavour and are regular orders of mine. So are the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I love their egg fried rice and they always give me a bag of prawn crackers for free which is a nice touch. The phone order is taken very quickly and delivery takes around 45 minutes. The food always arrives hot. The only downside is the price of the king prawn chow mein which is a bit steep. They're not the cheapest but you pay for the quality. The chowmein noodles are so good, haven't found another takeaway in the area that comes close. Other than that a superb takeaway restaurant :)”

“Large store, opens 24 hours (I think), except Sunday. There’s a cafe upstairs, also a place to get photos printed and phot gifts made. I noticed there’s a small Subway now too. Right next to Marks and Spencer’s, they share the foyer area.”

“Love our local Waitrose, the staff are all so so friendly and attentive. Good stock on most things , I only wish Waitrose didn’t get rid of their own branded gluten free chocolate cup cakes in the bakery section - for someone who is coeliac like me they were the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had and trust me a lot of gluten free stuff is so dry , but not these!! Pls bring them back :(”

“Just wanted to say 'thank you', especially to the male member of staff on checkout/stacking who helped me greatly and stopped me having a bit of a meltdown when my electric wheelchair decided to take some timeout at the checkout this afternoon, he was kind, considerate, polite and understanding and reassured me that my dilema was not a problem even though I could hear a few 'tuts' from customers behind me. I forgot to look at his name badge , but he knows who he is and you should too as there will be a little halo shining brightly above him, please pass on my HUGE thanks to him again and reassure him that the taxi got me home safely.
