“I went here a couple of days ago and took the risk after all the bad reviews(only 1 time risk). But now maybe it has changed owners and it's better now? As it looked like only 1 chinese guy was working there who spoke perfect English and I didn't see anyone else in sight. But anyways what i ordered was delicious which was roast duck with bbq sauce on egg fried rice.”

“I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. I’m really surprised it’s not full to capacity every single day. It’s a small family owned Italian with delicious food and the service is 10/10.”

“Came here as it was en route to my destination, the reviews looked very promising; well let’s say that The Chunky Teapot did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by Maisy who gave me a menu & advised me to come up to the counter when I was ready order. Now for the food, order what I usually would; Eggs Royale. Came really quickly & well presented. This is without a doubt the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had. Poached to perfection, with a great half moon shape and tasty enough for a king. #ShoutOut2TheChef Reasonably priced food/drinks, clean, unique styling, very welcoming & friendly staff. “Really nice little restaurant. Street parking available around the area. Was a bit apprehensive at first, as they were selling both, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, as we had gone there predominantly for sushi. Needless to say, the food was GREAT!!! The guy that served our table was brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and always at hand. Definitely on my list of favourite restaurants!”

“Great classic Chinese takeaway-a little family run gem in Sidcup. We’ve been coming here for years and the food quality is consistently good and amazing value. Excellent Chinese style curry and Singaporean Rice vermicelli our favourites. Pancake rolls are hand-made which means we’ll happily wait for delivery but if busy go and collect!”

“I have tried quite a few different Chinese takeaways but this is the best one I have ever had in my life. My go to order is chicken chow mein, chips and curry sauce. It is amazing. I don’t know how the fen make their chips so perfect but they really do! I cannot recommend this place enough!!!”

I walked in ordered waited less than fifteen minutes. Home with piping hot pizza within 20 minutes. Was it as good ? Same pizza - same waitress- same chef - Same Perfection - For under £10 - Total no brainer x Superb and thank you.”
