“I can't remember the last time I went to a Thai restaurant. This place was amazing. First off, the décor is lovely. Very floral and inviting, nice and light. The service was good, fairly quick and friendly. Now....the food was delicious. I can't really compare to other Thai restaurants as I haven't gone to another for ages. I had a prawn pad Thai and chicken satay on the side. The best I have had. Miles better than I have made at home and a shop bought food. I would definitely recommend this place, and will return if I'm in the area.”

It looked just a little bit tired and like a local pub. Should have realised that this just meant it hadn't been turned into a sterile gastropub chain... Because I had the steak. On a hot stone. It was amazing! I love nowhere near... But genuinely if I was anywhere even close I'd go back just to eat that again!!! Service was great and the marquee although temperature went up and down a bit stayed warm enough to keep us comfortable. That steak............”

“My gosh - this is a fantastic restaurant! The menu is wonderful - I'd have loved to have tried everything on it! The welcome when we arrived made us feel very comfortable and the service was friendly and efficient. The food. Wow, the food!! It was absolutely superb. Everything we ate was just wonderful, and so exciting - exceeding my already high expectations! It was our first visit, but this is a very special restaurant and we will be back very soon!”

“Our initial plan was just to have a cup of coffee before the hike. Then I wanted to have a quick breakfast. Surprisingly the service was very prompt even inside was packed. But I was impressed more by the stylish service and the taste. It's not my local but now and then I want to visit here for their excellent coffee + food + dog friendly”

“Have not been to the rose and crown in over 2 years because of covid. We visited sunday. Was so nice to see Karen and john. Such a friendly village atmosphere. Lovely warm log fire. Me and my husband had roast lamb. The lamb melted in your mouth one of the best roast dinners we have had in a long time. We was very lucky to be fitted in as it was very busy so I would advise to book. Looking forward to our next visit.”

“Staff were nice and pleasant. The pub had quite a relaxed atmosphere almost like a coffee shop rather than a pub. Lots of tables outside although I think these are shared with the businesses adjoining the pub. The Guinness was excellent as was the Late Red (Shepherd Neame)”

“the service was amazing. Spoke to a lovely girl on the phone and it came so fast and still hot! Great food and delivery driver. Our order was slighlty wrong the first delivery but we told them and they sent a free dish of the correct meal and free drink with a super cute 'sorry' note. Couldnt be more pleased with the food, the rice and sauce is to die for and chicken such good quality. Would reccomend salmon teriyaki with brown rice and chicken katsu. “Absolutely lovely. Small beautiful old hotel. Grounds kept well. Whole place maintained well. Staff attentive. Good choice of food for breakfast. Evening dining..food was tasty full plate. Bar area relaxing. Bedroom clean. Plenty of toiletries shower cap etc. Soundproof room and the bed is comfy not like a brick! Would definitely stay again.”

“A fantastic addition to the Sevenoaks community. My wife and I have been visiting the Pirouni van every week we can in Kennedy Gardens and we always leave with a smile and go home with a delicious treat to cure the midweek blues! I really can't stress this enough - we need people like this in our community to provide us with lovely and friendly dining options and we should all thank them for the work they put in every day to provide us with little pleasures in life that we wouldn't otherwise have. If we wait for our fresh greek Street food to be cooked in front of us, we are always offered a warming cup of herbal Greek tea and friendly conversation. The food itself is excellent and a great addition to the neighbourhood. My wife is vegetarian and they even took on board feedback to provide a larger range of vegetarian and vegan options. Pre-ordering makes life easy after a stressful day at work and we always look forward to something a bit different each Tuesday to look forward to.
