Comfortable stay options in Watford

“We are a family of 4 (2 adults & 2 children) that stayed for about 6 months Modernview Serviced Accommodation 2 bed Executive apartment - Cassio. The apartments are fully furnished, well equipped and had everything we needed like washer dryer, toaster, kettle and oven. The Apartment was Super Clean, Serviced regularly by a professional housekeeper. The apartment was extremely cozy and comfortable for me and my family, we felt very much at home. Lots of things to do in and around Watford, We visited Harry Porter Leavesden Studios about 10 minutes drive away, also Central London was only 20 minutes by overland train. The apartment is close to amenities, the high street just a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants and nice local shops. Staff were very supportive and went an extra mile to ensure we were well settled and comfortable! Would definitely recommend staying!”

“We had the pleasure of staying here for New Year's Eve and News Year Day. The service was fantastic from arrival to departure. Immaculate hotel, rooms were spacious , clean and comfortable. The service in the bar and restaurant was superb too, the bar/restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful. They adapted changes to the food choices without any hesitation to ensure our 3 children were satisfied. The cleaning staff left our rooms gleaming and there was literally nothing to fault. The manageress of the cleaning staff, who was also first aid trained was absolutely superb at supporting us on new years day as our youngest had quite a dramatic nose bleed, she was so calm and experienced,that her presence and guidance helped immediately, literally can't thank her enough for her help . And Nothing was a bother, and it helped us feel at total ease, especially with 3excitable children who were desperate to visit Harry Potter's Studio on New Year's Day. The shuttle bus was also just a 5minute walk from the hotel, which was another bonus. I would definitely recommend this hotel, for quality service, location smd fantastic customer service from all of the staff and would have no hesitation to visit again or another of the Leonardo Hotels.”

“My mother stayed here on night of the 12th Feb as we had just finished a holiday, I live local and she needed help getting to the train station early in the morning. We arrived late and was greeted by the night shift manager/ supervisor who was on reception. He was brilliant and very helpful. My mother told me in the morning that he even helped her with breakfast as she was the first one up!! Brilliant customer service by the supervisor (who I understand cycles locally to work on his push bike). Excellent work, well done to him! 5 stars”

“Comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet with (width-restricted) opening window. I have stayed here four times in last 3 months, and have another booking upcoming. Room is well appointed with an extremely comfortable bed and large work area with plenty of power points and USB plug sockets around the room. The room has tea/coffee making facilities, but does not supply decaffeinated coffee in the room (but it is available from reception free of charge). The shower works well, but is over the bath requiring a significant step up (although rooms with accessible facilities are possible). Hotel is in a quiet location on the edge of town. Breakfasts are good value, but dining area can be very busy and many children WILL be present (hotel is convenient for Harry Potter tour). There is currently no food or bar service in the evenings but there are pubs and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. The staff are both friendly and accommodating. My only issues are that a non-slip mat is not provided for the bath, and decaffeinated coffee is not in the room, requiring a trip down to reception, but these are minor inconveniences.”

“Very beautiful hotel! The staff are very very helpful and friendly. If we needed any assistance the receptionist and the other staff as well helped us out very happily. We had breakfast for 2 days and there is a variety of food, from a Croissant to cornflakes. Absolutely loved the place!”

“Dee’s place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to local amenities. Her place is great, very clean and has everything you need. Dee was also very helpful since the beginning, available at all times whenever I had any questions. Totally recommend it.”

“Me and my family stayed in Flat 34 for the weekend, location is excellent and a great base to visit London. The high street is a 5 minute walk away, you can easily get all your supplies here. The rail station is a easy flat 15 minute stroll away, we went to support our team at Wembley and the whole weekend was brilliant. Thank you Tope and your team for a trouble free weekend.The secure parking also gave us piece of mind. The apartment was spotless and very well equipped, a home from home. Even the fridge had milk, apple juice, orange juice and bottles of water. We would definitely recommend and we will be back.”

“I am a café addict, always on the lookout for a lovely café. In my humble opinion, the Perk Coffee Shop is a hidden gem that I have been lucky to find. The decor and atmosphere is beautiful. I haven't eaten here yet but have had coffee which was delicious. It has a great layout and is fairly spacious whilst still maintaining a cosy, boutique atmosphere. A charming independent business that deserves to flourish.”

“I was on a holiday with Mother and 2 children, 7 and 2. We were visiting Warner Bros Harry Potter tour. It could not have been more perfect for accessing the bus at Watford Jun. The staff were incredibly helpful with information on the area. We had a 2bedroom apt. It was lovely and big with all of the necessary accessories for a self catering stay.”

Store manager was also very helpful with an issue I had with one of my Boss jackets which I purchased and was very happy to help and sort out the issue. Very happy that finally there is a store that is close by instead of going to London and looking forward to the next purchase.”
