“Back open after a well deserved 1 month holiday following on from being open all through Covid and doing Eat Out to Help Out, the food is just as good as ever! The starter's are varied with some really interesting things on the menu. Main courses are good and again there is a lot of different Turkish dishes ensuring variety but even if just going for a mixed kebab like me you are assured it is delicious and perfectly cooked, served with a good salad, proper Turkish bread and a choice of Rice or Bulgar which I usually chose!”

We’d like to thank the staff and the chef for their excellent communication, care about us, making sure everything arrived in time, very happy with everything. “Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

“Lovely service, friendly staff and great food. Went for my boyfriend’s birthday( 6 people) and the total bill was around £300. We got so many rounds of drinks and food for each person, including one desert and coffees. A free drink at the end was also offered. My boyfriend comes here quite often and really enjoys the fish and chips.”

“I've eaten a lot of Biryani dishes, and each is unique - and this is no different. It's light, gently spiced, and a touch on the dry side - but that's only because it's paired with the delicious curry that are provided for you to pair the biryani with. The vegetable curry is flavourful (provided with the biryani). The vindaloo and jalfrezi have been catered for the local clientele, are of a good quality, and are not too hot to handle. Anyone with a mild to medium taste pallet will enjoy it. The staff are polite and friendly, and food was delivered on-time and warm. Happy with the service, would order again.”

“If you haven't been to Cosmo, you haven't lived! Buffet, lots of food and drink. It was a friends birthday and so we made a booking. It's a popular birthday spot as loads of other people had their birthdays too! Beautiful ambience! Friendly and helpful staff, always smiling!! The food was sooooo scrumptious and delightful!!! Sooo much variety. Lots to eat and drink. The ice cream machine and the chocolate fountain are simply an amazing bonus! A great hit with the kids and, of course, adults too!!!! Clean plates, cutlery, cups and bowls The best part? You get to eat! And eat!! And eat!!! Until you can't eat anymore. Then you eat some more!!!! It was such a beautiful experience. The adults loved it. The kids loved it. We would definitely be back!”

“First visit, parking for 5 or 6 cars in front but we managed to park easily on the opposite side of the road (care - some spaces are double yellow lines). Recommended by a friend and I add my recommendation to hers. Choice and quality of food superb, up there with the very best we've had. Recommend lamb shanks and mixed grill, but everything looked and tasted great. Didn't have a starter and just as well as portions were a good size. Had a poppadom each instead and even the dips were excellent. Try the lime pickle with chickpeas, excellent. Price was very reasonable, 3 beers and a bottle of wine between 4, main course and sides, about £25 a head. Don't be put off by a couple of surly waiters, with food this good you can suffer a little bit of moody service. Oh, and they had run out of Cobra Zero so the driver had to move on the water, also no Baileys for the complimentary drink, but can't really allow that to detract from the high quality of the food. We'll be back!”

“We booked a table of 13 for my Mums surprise 50th birthday lunch yesterday. Kane was our server.. he was a hard working, friendly and helpful person who provided an excellent service during our stay.. he is truly an asset to your company. We were able to turn up a little early to display a little party decor which was great. The food was delicious and fun was had by all. Would definitely recommend to others and we will definitely be returning in future!”

“Grilled chicken leg piece was amazingly tasty. Lamb Karahi was full of flavours and cooked fresh. Seating was quite basic, and cleaning can be improved. Soda drink with black salt was really good. Friendly staff and reasonably priced.”

We are very happy to have such a cafe, and to have the opportunity to eat such delicious Lithuanian food at a very affordable price. The working girls are unreal, I highly recommend!”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and very clean unfortunately, there was no breakfast cook so only continental breakfast was available however, the pub next door served full English buffet breakfast which was excellent. All amenities were available I.e hairdryer, iron etc. Would stay again”

“Tried this Chinese after our regular was closed for the night. I think this will now become our regular Chinese. The food had loads of flavour, not greasy. Packaged nicely with clear lids to see the food, the sauce pots were in a tray so no risk of leaking in the delivery bag. The food was also nice and hot, and the chips were good and not rock hard like most are from chinese takeaways.”
