The pasta is all freshly made in house and you can really tell because it’s so delicious. The pistachio tiramisu is a must try!! “Customer service is excellent. There was a lovely lady working there! I ordered an iced matcha latte and jasmine tea. The matcha latte was not sickly sweet and it was just right like the Japanese way. One lady even gave me a free complimentary biscuit. If you are fan of japanese drinks I would HIGHLY recommend. One of the best and you won't regret it :)”

“It’s always nice to discover cafes where the staff look excited and passionate about what they are doing. It certainly reflected in the coffee which was outstanding. “Our favourite spot in Putney. Having tried all of the coffee bars in Putney this is our absolute favourite. The coffee shots are always consistent and amazing quality - we are those people who will walk 30 mins to get an amazing cup of coffee and we couldn’t be happier to have found Monies on Upper Richmond Road. Staff are always so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere is so warm and the decor well designed. Having nailed the coffee they now do cheese and charcuterie boards on a fri and sat evening. You must go!! Each cheese is carefully hand selected from Borough Market, the meats are insane, they use amazing quality products from artisan producers and you can really taste the difference. A great selection of drinks too - ranging from wine to espresso martinis.”

“Absolutely loved this place. Authentic Turkish dishes cooked out on the open grill. Extensive menu with all the classics, baba ganoush, falafels and tons of Shish kebab grilled meats. Starters are around £8, mains and wine (bottle) are around £20 each. Ask about Turkish wines which are not on the menu. Great, fast service. 12.5% service charge is automatically added to your bill. Cozy atmosphere!”

“My goodness, the food here is devine! Atmosphere - cute, could be romantic if you want it to be. There is an 'Italian home' look and feel to the place, with clothes hanging above you. Unusual, but unique. My OCD just hopes dust from the clothes don't fall on the food. The type of customers we saw whilst we were there consisted of couples and families, so expect a child or two making some noise. It wasn't to the point of being disturbing. Food - scrumptious! We ordered a starter, which was prawns in a tomato sauce with bread. I could've eaten that all night, so delicious. I then ordered a pasta with basil and cod, this isn't the actual name of the meal but that's what it consisted of. It was absolutely delicious. My friend ordered the lobster, she is a chef and rated it quite high, with the only complaint being that the lobster was a tad over cooked. We also tried their best wine, not my favourite, it was a little watery. The water is bottled spring water. The chilli oil is a huge glass with a mixture of peppers in oil, felt very home made, adding to the atmosphere. Service - great. The lady serving us was good, not going above and beyond but at the same time didn't need to. She was calm and helped with any info we required. The food arrived in good time too, I'd say it took about 10-15mins to arrive. I'll definitely be returning to this lovely place. 100% recommend it.”

“This I think is how chinese food should be made. Simple looking but impeccable flavours. I’d come back very often. Very reasonable prices and accommodating service from the team. We ordered the Prawn Curry and Braised Pork. The taste of the curry is authentic and not too overpowering. The pork is so soft I did not even have to chew. Well sone!”
