Reina Meze Grill
● Open“We have been to this restaurant twice now and each time the service and friendly staff led by Sybil was fantastic. The team and Sybil are very attentive and the food is beautiful. The restaurant is clean very spacious and has beautiful decor . The prices are extremely competitive to other Turkish restaurants we have been too in Hornchurch. We live in Emerson park and this restaurant is very convenient to walk to. It surly is making an impact in Hornchurch as the restaurant was busy today . It is child friendly and there are disabled access and a disabled toilet . We sat outside and it was very hot sunshine but the canopies made good shade and comfortable seating. In fact we have booked again with Sybil today for the bank holiday weekend to go back as it is my wife’s birthday . We highly recommend this super restaurant. Thank you Sybil and team Ian & sharon”

Per Tutti Berkhamsted
● Open“Walked in before this restaurant was officially opened….10 mins before but the staff were so welcoming. So we had to wait 10 mins for service but it was worth the wait. The food was lovely and really good value at 2 courses for 10.90 with generous portions. My egg on my Pizza was cooked to perfection just as I requested with a lovely runny yoke. Will definitely return even though it’s a good 45 mins from my home. Another gem on Berkhamsted high street.”

Little Sardegna
● Closed“On my most recent visit, I went with a friend and we had a lovely time. It was a Thursday night and even though we were there quite early (6.45pm), it was really quiet which surprised me. However, I’d still recommend to book as it’s been much busier when I’ve been before. We didn’t have any starters (my friend’s decision - I thought the burrata sounded great!). My main was the crab from the specials board, which was the perfect size and definitely not stingy with the crab. Really tasty. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was creamy and light and I loved the flecks of crumbled amaretti biscuits on top, and the lemon sorbet. It’s hard to know what to say about lemon sorbet as it’s rare it’s not good. This was good. Prices were fair - my crab was about £16/17 and desserts were £6/7 Great for a cosy catch up, or date night.”

Café Amisha
● Closed“Uanama bellll!! Top, Top, Top!! Cafe' Amisha is the best Italian Restaurant in South-East London. All ingredients come directly from Italy, and all the chefs are Italian. All the waiters and Paola are incredibly kind and attentive. The main Chef, Leo, aka "The Maestro", is impressive. He cooks traditional recipes from Apulia and nationwide Italian food. Fregola, Pizza (ask for tuna and cipolla!) and fish are top at Amisha's cafe. At Easter time, ask for a Pastiera, a traditional Southern Italy Easter cake made. Maestro's pastiera is as good as my mum's. They also have a shop for Italian food which has really good stuff and Italian delicatessens. The owner, Francesco, is amazing. He is the most friendly and the nicest person ever. He is a natural people person, always smiling and happy. He also saved my life during the first lockdown and the food shortage. I bougth everything I needed there. He and his staff also delivered food to my place at any hour, including regular fresh fish deliveries.. He is also actively volunteering to help the NHS and the local community. A living hero, in a few words. He truly deserves a half-body statue at the nearby SPA garden.”

The Italian Job
● Closed“My girlfriend and I recently visited the Italian Job Pub in Hackney Wick and were thoroughly impressed! From the moment we walked in, the warm atmosphere and cheerful staff made us feel right at home. The pizzas we ordered were amazing and met the highest Italian standards. They were cooked perfectly! The wine was a delightful complement to the meal and the craft beer was a refreshing change of pace. What a nice selection, by the way. In conclusion, if you're looking for a fun, relaxed atmosphere, delicious food and drinks, this Italian pub in London is the place to be. Can't wait to go back!”

Perilla
● Closed“What a gem! A must for any local or foodie (worth the travel to). It is clear there is a lot of thought in the ingredients, quality of and execution to the dishes. I loved they play with textures and flavours. I was blown away by the focaccia and loved the soup dish mopping it up with the sourdough we ordered. The schnitzel was heavenly. Great for couples or small group of 3-4. Can get a little bit loud when at full capacity. Lastly a big thank you to our servers. Both were authentic and helpful.”

Bobo Social - Elephant & Castle
● Closed“My updated review - after being invited back, I booked a birthday lunch for mum and it was amazing. Service attentive and food delicious with a birthday dessert as a nice touch. Thank you to all staff for making our visit special, will definitely return! We were greeted and seated nicely by a lady in all black but served by wait staff in stripy t shirts and blue shirt and it was dire. Our drinks came after our starters after two prompts and even then one of the party had to wait for the two drinks they ordered after a further prompt with no apologies. Food was placed on the table without a by your leave. Chilli squid was soggy and bland but lamb croquettes were good. Mains were OK. Lights inexplicably dimmed a few times. Asked twice for the bill. I wanted to like this place but no.”

Cora Pearl Covent Garden
● Open“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cora Pearl for their Sunday roast and it was absolutely divine. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. The roast itself was cooked to perfection and the flavors were simply out of this world. The meat was tender and juicy, and the vegetables were perfectly cooked. The gravy was rich and savory, and everything was served in generous portions. But what really made the Sunday roast stand out at Cora Pearl was the side dishes. The roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, the carrots were sweet and caramelized, and the Brussels sprouts were cooked just right - not too soft, not too crunchy. The ham and cheese was my personal favorite because of its unique taste and dip. Overall, the Sunday roast at Cora Pearl was an absolute treat and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying meal. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was top-notch. I will definitely recommend their Sunday roast.”

Champagne Route
● Open“I went with a friend last night to Champagne Route and we had the most lovely time. The staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant has great ambiance, cosy but sophisticated. We shared the Bruschetta with parma ham and tomato garlic sauce to start, which was delicious, I particularly loved the sauce that had a mousse like texture and the careful presentation of our meal. For my main I had the Confit Chicken, mushroom ballotine, pan fried kale, red wine sauce garnished with pomegranate - which was cooked to perfect tenderness. My friend has the Gruyere and asparagus tartlet with mixeld leaf salad, which I didn't have a chance to try but was told was delicious! We matched our food to the house wine, both perfectly lovely. All in all we enjoyed the atmosphere and food and look forward to coming for food again!”

Nonos
● Open“Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”
-
Cabotte
● Open“Having been set up by two master sommeliers I was expecting a restaurant with alright food but decent wine. I was wrong! The food at Cabotte is as outstanding as the wine - and the attentive friendly staff make navigating a huge wine list easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended as a place for that special occasion”
