I must also commend the service which was very good and accomodating despite us arriving 45 mins before close of kitchen. I might just come again. Thanks!”

“Very lucky to have this cafe on our doorstep. Kate (the owner) and her team are always welcoming and make a special fuss of our dog Luna even if we just walk by. Great selection of cakes all lovingly made by Kate and a great selection of food for breakfast & lunch. Kate also runs a Supper Club on a Thursday evening where she creates a varied 3 course meal each week. We have been on several occasions & have been delighted with the dishes and wine. Highly recommend for brunch, lunch, amazing cakes or a treat at the Supper Club. Not forgetting the cakes made to order for any celebration. Ordered several for various family celebrations. All delicious & loved by all our guests!”

Only thing is the passionate cooler was way too sweet, but I just asked to top up with soda water and it was all fine. Thank you to our waiter Shubham for a great night! “I visited My Thai recently on a friend’s recommendation and I must say the place undoubtedly surpassed all my expectations. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival, all COVID protocols were followed with due diligence, the staffs were attentive & friendly and the food was heavenly. The very first bite took me straight to the streets of Bangkok, the food is authentically Thai - a perfect balance of flavours, spiciness and tanginess to tease, tickle and satiate your taste buds!! Also, a pleasant surprise in the menu - they serve the juiciest and most succulent lamb chops in the town, definitely a must try! Highly Recommended!!”

“The Gate is a really good place to visit. We had dinner they on a Saturday night. We had booked in advance, so a table has been reserved for us. The menu is really good, with a really good variety to choose from, including a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the menu gives really good variety for money, including the drinks menu. We started with the vegetarian chili nachos which were delicious and made a really nice change from the traditional meat version. We will definitely go back again.”
