“Would give it a 10 star. Took my veggie work colleague. Food was simple (we veggies like it simple sometimes), hot, fresh, stayed hot and very plenty. Spinach quantity was large and delicious - not overcooked. But the best best bit were the staff. What a breath of fresh air. They were joyful, energetic, just perfectly attentive and smiling. And singing too. Prices are very reasonable too. We came away feeling relaxed, happy, soulful and singing. Thank you to your beautiful staff”

“A friendly , welcoming pub with good quality food and drinks. It's always busy without being hectic. Sunday Roast portions are very generous but the fish dishes are more modest. However the creamed spinach side dish is amazing!”

“Popped in for a quick lunch on a freezing Friday. Only one member of staff behind the bar and ferrying food, but she did a brilliant job and was extremely friendly. Food was surprisingly good and while not 'cheap', I think it was worth it. Not busy for a Friday lunch, which is a little worrying. I hope to visit again soon.”

“The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The kitchen was closed but the chef overheard that we were 'starving' and she kindly offered to prepare whatever we wanted. The food was great! They have lovely outdoor seating which is well spaced out to maintain social distancing.”

“Don't understand the low rating of this place. Absolutely 10/10 evening. The food was absolutely delicious, not your average dishes! The service of the staff was impeccable, cannot fault it at all. The lady's who waited the table were so attentive and polite, unfortunately didn't get names. We also ordered shisha and it lasted the whole evening, fantastic flavours recommended from the gentleman serving us. Biggest thank you to James who helped us with every request (there were many) thanks for being fantastic and so welcoming and accommodating, you made the evening what it was. Cannot wait to return. “The best fish and chips in Watford. It's a shame the rating system only allows me to go to 5 because this is easily a 6 star restaurant. Delivery time within 30 minutes. Not only do I think both the fish and chips are divine, but they are consistently delicious every time I order. No other restaurant has ever been this consistent. There are a lot of fish and chip restaurants, but this is the one you should be ordering from. Many thanks, will order again soon.”

“I haven’t been to the Tudor for about 10 to 15 years not how I remember it at all very light and airy, spacious and welcoming. The prices are reasonable for drink and food. Had a lovely Katsu, curry and fries.”
