“A few years ago we had a Howdens kitchen fitted, complete with the Lamona appliances. All of which have served us faithfully over the years. Today the fridge freezer died, so I contacted the number in the manual, but their solution wasn't acceptable. I then phoned Howdens in Borehamwood, where we had bought the kitchen originally, and spoke to a very nice man named Howard. Howard immediately swung into action, arranged to have a brand new replacement fridge delivered the next day and even put me in contact with someone who would install it, as it is an integrated fridge freezer. Throughout, he was polite, friendly and very helpful. I can't speak highly enough of the level of service. It is not often that you come across someone so willing to help and who not only does so, but does it quickly and without fuss. 5 stars all the way.”

“Great service once again from Halfords Borehamwood! Arrived with my bike for its 6 week check, and one of the team (I believe a SA gentleman) offered to carry my bike up the stairs for me. Will carried out the check. He then went above and beyond to advise me on a repair for another bike (later carrying out that repair to a very high standard.) When attempting to put my bike back in my car after the 6 week check, another member of the team (an older gentleman working on a car engine) came over kindly offered to put my bike into my car for me. What a great team!”

“Despite a nightmare using the Halfords website / online booking etc, I contacted Halfords Autocentre directly as I urgently needed two tyres replaced on a car I'd just purchased for my son. I spoke with Christine at reception and she was excellent, personable, understanding and very helpful as was her colleague Phillip. All sorted now, I had 4 new tyres fitted for a great price, have now booked the car in for Brake Discs & pads next week. Great to get proper customer service. “Great little store and addition to Borehamwood. Saved me having to go to Friern Barnet for paint. Don't know why they didn't do this ages ago, as this area has no decent hardware stores (except Wickes, but their range of paint is pretty poor). I got friendly service from the lady on the till.”

Was served by the new store manager, who helped me with his words of wisdom "Christmas is a Marathon not a Sprint! Ease yourself into it" so I also ended up with a delicious warm mince pie. Great team, great coffee in a great location.”
