Only negative was that the patty was a bit thin so might be worth upgrading to two patties. Pub is a bit run down but adds to the charm and has a good vibe for the football too.”

“Cute new coffee and yoga shop at 121 Northfields Avenue. They also sell cute gifts; bought the coconut soap and rose petal soaps, as well as a selection of incense sticks. Shop local! Really friendly owner and my partner tells me the coffee is really good! They do Reika and other wellbeing activities like yoga.”

“Just bought the most beautiful baby gargoyle gecko here. Got really good vibes and spoke to the lovely woman who breeds them. So much passion, and care and you can really tell that all the animals here are well looked after and happy. They have some stunning reptiles and a good amount of plants/accessories especially when you consider that the shop is quite small.”

“I was staying with friends and needed some food etc for my little Yorkie . She is really fussy and I thought I’d visit this shop as we have one near to us in Dorset . I don’t very often leave reviews but absolutely had to . The staff were so welcoming , friendly and knowledgable. The lady that served me was called Mollie , she was so lovely and ensured I had everything I needed . The other lady there was called Charlotte I think , she was also very helpful . As a food retail manager myself , I know how difficult it is to employ great staff that have a love for what they do that shines through with great service . Well done to you .”

“I can highly recommend this shop. When I decided to get an aquarium I googled local pet shops. Unicorn is local to me, so decided to visit them. So glad that I did. Spent about 40 minutes speaking to Dave who answered all my many questions and guided me through the set up process. I have been back every week since and spoken to Steve or Dave usually with more questions and now 7 weeks on have a beautiful aquarium. Thanks to you both.”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“First visit today, not busy as it was near closing time. We had the Two Pork Tonkotsu and Chicken Paitan. Staff were all friendly, nice and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. The Udon is absolutely delicious and freshly made. We didn't have to add any condiments as the flavour were perfect for us. Truly enjoyable. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.”

“I’ve never eaten at Poor Boys but have ordered from here a number of times and they never disappoint. In my opinion this is the best takeaway option in Kingston if you’re looking for American food. It’s not cheap but the food is delicious and always cooked to a high standard. I wouldn’t order the calamari again as this doesn’t travel well, but everything else can easily be heated up on the oven without compromising the quality. I love the popcorn cauliflower and was really disappointed to see this isn’t available as a starter/snack anymore, but hope they’ll bring it back soon. I’m a meat eater but always loved ordering it as a great side! The Cajun fries are an absolute must too.”
