“Had a wonderful dinner at Lokanta tonight. The environment is beautiful and our server, Tanya, took amazing care of us. It was clear both she and the chef cared a lot about flavours, presentation, and personalisation. “We always loved the atmosphere and the excellent traditional Marrakech food served here. We had two different tagine dishes with mint tea. My lamb tagine was excellent! At the end of the meal we were given on the house a "Recho Freta" to share. It's a deep fried desert made with milk. We loved it! It was very light! Beautiful traditional light fittings made with dried gaud are really pretty!”

“We have been buying from Mahavir for decades, and their Jalebis are the best in town, thin and crispy. We recently held a charity event for the British Heart Foundation and they generously donated a box full of lovely fluffy dhoklas. I love their service and food too. Highly recommend them. “There are not many Xinjiang restaurants in London. I have passed by this restaurant many times and have not tried it. Today I finally have the opportunity. There were already a lot of people at 2pm on a Sunday, but the food was served quickly. My friend said that he couldn't taste the Xinjiang flavor, and the dishes were all spicy, but we all felt that the taste was good, and the price was affordable.”

One of the best meals I’ve had and the perfect place for a self date after a long busy week. They offer a choice of half a dozen antipasti; four pasta dishes; and three main courses - usually one meat, one fish and one vegetarian/vegan. Interesting - exclusively Italian - wine list. “We were there a couple of weeks ago. It was a Saturday night and we were very lucky to find a table without a booking. The team is very welcoming and the service was as fast as it could be on a busy Saturday evening. We had a large sharing platter and a raclette - both delicious - champagne and aperitifs cocktails which were lovely. We will definitely be back (we will make sure to book a table next time!). Considering the high quality of the food, this was very reasonably priced. See you soon!”

“The owners are friendly and welcoming. The food is authentic, tasty, abundant and reasonably priced. They gave me a falafel wrap instead of a platter, but that can happen, and I wouldn't fuss about it. While we were waiting, they made me try falafel and gave me bread for free. What you see in the pic are mixed grills.”
