● Closed“I LOVE Yat Sing. It's one of my few guilty pleasures and reminds me of the Chinese takeaways of my youth. It has a huge menu, delivers orders fast, and is incredibly good value. The portions are huge and surprisingly healthy (loaded with fresh vegetables). Sure, it's not authentic Chinese food in any way, but that's not what I go there for. (I'm always too shy to ask for something off-menu, but would love to think they'd whip something authentically Cantonese up if I did.) I always order in the shop - it's much cheaper than ordering online. The huge retro menu behind the counter is a joy to scroll through. My go-tos are the Thai fried rice (although I'm yet to discover what is Thai about it), the deep fried tofu with chilli and garlic, Singapore fried rice, chicken in black bean sauce (get the one dish with rice included if you're not too hungry). Such a great spot.”

The food was nice. I ordered the vegan satay skewers which were 10/10 as well was the crispy tofu with black bean sauce which was also nice. Maybe a little on the pricey side but probabaly normal consider prices these days.”
