● Closed“I've come here a couple of times now as it's one of my locals. The staff have always been welcoming and friendly and the food overall is authentic and good. I've tried the red braised beef spicy noodle soup (good), DanDan special braised pork belly (really nice), mapo tofu (good chilli kick and flavour) and the tender beef and pickled vegetable noodle soup (interesting flavour with a slight chilli kick but tasty). The dumplings aren't anything special so I'd give them a miss.”

The owner is lovely to talk to, super kind and happy to explain anything on their comprehensive menu. I just came in for a peruse initially out of curiosity, but then she gave me lots of advice and inspiration for new dishes i'd wanted to but never cooked before. Pilaf had great texture, rice was interestingly sweet and meat melted Soup with meat dumplings had an aromatic smell, it was light but filling All the food had a homey flavor like your grandmother made it. Would definitely visit again.”
