We ordered BBQ set menu, a hot pot and fried chicken which was enough for us to share, it felt like the authentic experience - if you're a fan of Korean dramas on Netflix you won't be disappointed! “One of my favourite Dim Sum restaurants in London. This restaurant is like a hidden gem! I know Dim Sum should be eaten with people together, but I go there alone whenever I want and have three or four dim sums by myself. The staff are friendly and always take care of me, so I enjoy eating by myself. Many Chinese restaurants use plastic teacups, plates, and spoons, but they use pottery tableware here, which gives me a warm welcome. When I miss oriental food, I go here to have good quality food.”

'148' remains well loved by locals and I have been eating here for over twenty years: formerly known as Mr Liu, the new management team have definitely settled in and made it their own. The food is still excellent - freshly prepared and beautifully seasoned: the staff are gorgeous, they will remember you and are happy to converse with you or, sensitively, leave you in peace. “Excellent dum sum. Quick to be seated, though does fill up rapidly from 12.00 onwards. Staff are very friendly and attentive, dim sum menu is standard with some nice specials. Restaurant is really clean and tidy with great decor. Note that my photos are as we are eating hence some missing dumplings! As soon as the plates started arriving at the table we started eating!”
