“*Amazing service and Approachability: The young Chinese (serving the cellar based restaurant) and Indian (upstairs, servicing the store and takeaway orders) gents duo were really courteous and polite throughout my two night visit there. *Quality of Food: I loved the fried rice platters, in this case the King Prawn Fried rice, really well made and a very reasonable portion (having been in the restaurant and takeaway trade for 17 + years myself previously). I felt the platters and individual dishes overall, offered better value, although the as yet untried "Unlimited Dim Sum - BBQ Roast meats or Hot Pot/Steam Boat" options were also available and would offer vastly more choice in terms of meat - seafood and vegetables variety etc. The place was clean - tidy and quite atmospheric we found. N.B. Plus if you ask nicely, they'll allow you to charge your phones with several of the nearby power sockets too ;-) 5 Stars out of 5 for sure!”

“My 12 year old son and I took the Japanese desserts class to learn how to make Mochi and it was fantastic. Simon and Hanna were excellent teachers and super knowledgeable. The class was very well run and friendly and they were very patient with my chatty son and helped him to learn all the techniques. I would recommend their classes to anyone with an interest in Asian food and we will definitely be back. Thank you Hanna and Simon!”

“Love this place we have ordered here several times now and every time it has been much nicer than other Chinese takeaways we have tried in this area. They always listen to our order notes and always have friendly delivery drivers who find our notoriously difficult address every time without needing directions. They are so polite and friendly and no matter how busy they are always deliver fresh and tasty food. Will not order Chinese from anywhere else now!”

“i have had to log on here and do this while half-way through the meal because ONCE AGAIN (just like ALL the other 3/4 times I have used this place) the food is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC. I CANNOT understand how the person above had that experience (the chow mein isnt even described or the rice bar disgusting) and they are not dishes that can vary that much. On the other hand ALL my hour d'oevres are amazing & the Kung Pao equally. Honestly I went here first time on a whim with nowhree else open on my way home- but before this had been put off eating chinese takeaways from too many below par ones...this one is SO good it is one of my favourite meals.... Honestly i think it more likely the person who wrote the above review spilled vinegar in their meal than it differed so vastly from mine!”

“Unavu kitchen catered few of our family events since last year. The food was authentic and delicious. Recently, we were pleased to have unavu kitchen on my husband's bday party. All our guests were enjoyed the freshly made hoppers and kottu rotti. Their service was excellent and staffs were very friendly. We will definitely hire unavu kitchen for more events in the future.”

“Everything about this restaurant was amazing - the interior, food, and drinks. There were a great selection of cocktails and mocktails and we were beyond happy with everything we ordered. “Had an amazing dinner here. The friendly service, delicious flavours and calm atmosphere make it a great place for a small group or date night. Highly recommend the crackling spinach - I’ve never had better spinach before. The cauliflower was also amazing. Just beware about the spice levels - we got the duck dish which had a lot of heat! We enjoyed it but others could find it too spicy”

“Highly recommend this place for authentic Pan-Asian food. I am a great pan-asian food lover and would absolutely vouch for the taste and flavours. Their Chicken is Halal. Very friendly and accommodating staff and great tasting food, match made in heaven. Been there four times now, and the quality and taste is unchanged. “Always a Reliable Choice. We've been using this Chinese Takeaway for many years and never had a disappointing meal. Quick & accurate on the phone, pleasant service and food ready in about 20 minutes; Always fresh, hot and good. Portion sizes are large and prices seem fine to me. I can strongly recommend this place, call them up when passing Rayners Lane on the Met and your dinner is ready for collection as you pass the shop.”

“As a Chinese who grown up in China and have been living in the UK for many years, I wouldn’t say this place has very authentic Chinese food, but it doesn’t stop it being an excellent restaurant. The food was really nice and the staffs are very friendly. They have reinvented the Chinese dishes to fit the British taste, but it’s still nice and kept the inspiration of Chinese food.”

“Great experience. We went for the Taste of China tasting menu which was amazing, and the waiters are very attentive. Only real complaint is that it is ridiculously hard to book a table, and we had to book months in advance. We also had to rearrange several times due to govt restrictions which of course isn't the restaurant's fault but in that time the price of the menu increased by 46 GBP a head which is not small. That being said, once we arrived the experience was amazing from start to finish.”

One mishap, while booking a reservations online I did not see there are bookings for Italian and Asian kitchens but you can order certain items from the other menu such as oysters. Very well trained waitstaff and service. Appropriately timed dishes. You do not feel rushed. You get your moneys worth. The drinks were very delicious. Reservations I would say are required. The limited time only cigar dessert was phenomenal as well as the presentation. The Greek salad could have used more ‘oomph’ like onions and cucumbers.”

“Amazing authentic Chinese food, we ordered a few of my favourites, lamb skewers, Mapo Tofu, green beans. Have to say this was the best Mapo Tofu I've eaten in London, it actually had a decent MaLa flavour to it, something no other place has properly done, and the tofu was firm. The lamb skewers reminded me of Street Food in China, the flavour was just right. I will be going back again for certain, there are many dishes I'm eager to try and see if they're also as authentic as the food I had.”
