Freightliners Farm
● Open“Interesting little city farm. Great place for small kids, and even as an adult it was fun to have a look at the chickens, bunnies, guinea pigs, goats, pigs and cows. One of cows had decided to take a little walk outside of its stable and caused some commotion among the keepers, and a lot of sympathy from the kids :) A good place to spend half an hour away from the surrounding big city vibe and enjoy the view of a farm animal and a cup of tea.”

● Open“Our daughter has been attending Over The Rainbow Nursery for almost a year now. As a qualified social worker who has worked in child protection it was imperative that our daughter was placed in a happy environment where safeguarding is paramount and she would be encouraged to develop. Over The Rainbow have ensured that she settled in well and has a key worker who she felt secure and happy with. We receive regular updates with regards to her progression and it is clear to see that the staff are passionate and caring about the children. Our daughter has been taught so much, from learning to share and take turns to using cutlery to feed herself (all age-appropriate things). Our daughter runs into nursery each week and we are very pleased that she enjoys her time at the nursery. I would wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone considering placing their child in daycare and wanted a secure and happy environment for their child.”

Tennis courts are nice. Gym stuff available and a big kids playground and a little kids one - equipment is nicely kept. There are kayak rentals, and mini golf. Nice seating by the river and the cafe isn't a complete ripoff but it does have limited veggie options. Toilets I've luckily never been in since I was a kid but I imagine they're as good as you'll get in a public park in this area. Massive green spaces and a straight path in the middle where I learned to ride a bike and now 25+ years later am teaching my son to ride. This park is great.”

● Open“Absolutely LOVED it. Queues weren't too long. Great staff. It was a lot bigger than I expected and had a lot of different diggers/things to do. Lots of different things for different heights. You need to be a minimum of 90cm to enjoy most of it as you need that for sitting a lap. Solo drivers is mostly from 110cm so be aware of the height of your child before you go. One baby change available in the main building but there's two toilets (main building and restaurant). Restaurant has ok food, but it's quick service. I'd definitely come back again. A lovely day out for young and old.”

● Closed“My new favourite place to dine in north London, don't miss the legendary shabu-shabu meal deal there - great value for money (£27 per head for a 2-hour unlimited order of food on the first six pages of the menu). The starter plate itself is full of everything and you can also order beef and pork slices plus all sorts of vegetables, sushis and rolls as much as you like and as many times as you wish within the first 90 minutes. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the staff were all very friendly and made us feel welcomed. The place could get very crowded due to its popularity so to avoid waiting in a long queue, be there early like before six o'clock.”

The food was amazing, truly wonderful and so filling. We had a large party who essentially got to sample everything from a party menu. It’s a very easy restaurant to get to, a 10 minute walk from battersea power station. A special thanks to Martina and all the staff, they were very attentive and accommodating. ● Open“I absolutely loved the food. It was cooked to perfection. Even though we had booked in advance we still had to wait a little but it was well worth it. The meats are delicious and scrumptious. There is enough taste and flavour and a decent portion size. We couldn’t finish it all but could take it home which is a bonus. No food wasted. It’s an absolutely treat to go with friends or family or even for a date. I would definitely recommend and come back.”

● Open“Best Turkish in Essex! Been eating here for years and never had a bad meal. The bread is the best I’ve ever had; so deliciously seasoned and their homemade chilli sauce is incredible! Highly recommend ordering the hummus kuvurma. Mains are very large, would recommend sharing 1 between 2 people, or if you order your own and can’t finish it, ask for a takeaway box. My go-to main is the sarma chicken beyti; absolutely delicious! I forgot to take a picture because I was too excited to eat it, but I’ll be sure to get a picture next time I go and update this review.”

Almost all regulars who seems to enjoy their time in the cafe. Position of the Cafe is very good, used their wifi, with probably longest and most difficult Password, don’t know why. They are extremely busy at lunch times with reserved tables.”

We weren't able to sample the food as the kitchen was closed, and although you can order Yard Sale Pizza there the barmen let us go and grab some chips from the chippy up the road. Wish more pubs were that chilled. Highly recommend a visit, the garden outside looked amazing too and would be perfect for a drink in any weather as it's covered...”
