“Went there thinking they are a part of the Eat out to help out scheme where you get 50% discount, but it turns out they are not. My mistake. Nevertheless, the food was very good. Salt and pepper squid was perfect, and green curry with shrimps was just a tad bit too salty. A lot of shrimps in it, though. The staff was friendly and professional, and they were following all the Covid prevention measures.”

“Delicious as usual! I've been ordering from Tang's for 11 years (order every 2/3 months) and definitely my favourite Chinese takeaway in the whole of Edgware and Mill Hill. The large vegetable spring rolls are my favourite and have a fragrant flavour. The sesame prawn toast and mushroom balls are delicious too. The beef chow mein and mixed vegetable chow mein are very good in sauce and flavour and are regular orders of mine. So are the lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken. I love their egg fried rice and they always give me a bag of prawn crackers for free which is a nice touch. The phone order is taken very quickly and delivery takes around 45 minutes. The food always arrives hot. The only downside is the price of the king prawn chow mein which is a bit steep. They're not the cheapest but you pay for the quality. The chowmein noodles are so good, haven't found another takeaway in the area that comes close. Other than that a superb takeaway restaurant :)”

“Living within 2 minutes from the chippy is perfect for me, no need to use uber for delivery. I've only been twice so far, but the service is professional and the staff are are quick. The chip portions are good and I have to say the fishcakes are amazing. For anyone not yet used this chippy, please do, you won't be dissaponted. I'll be popping in at lunch time for some chips.”

“I have been here a few times and recently it took quite long for food to come out. But the food is well worth it. Jollof cooked to perfection and the kelewele basket is delicious as always especially the crispy slight burnt bits. Highly recommend if you want to try Ghanaian cuisine. Local area but difficult for parking.”

“Went here on a Thursday for a sisters night out. Got to say, was definitely not disappointed with this little gem! The staff were really lovely and couldn't do enough for you. Very polite and attentive. Very relaxed atmosphere with nice decor. Food was amazing; we had salt and pepper chicken and squid (highly recommend) with noodles, rice, two chicken dishes and duck with pancakes etc. A little more pircey than the typical Asian cuisine but definitely worth it considering the quality. Was not greasy whatsoever, just very tasteful and unique. They also let you take home anything that you don't finish, which is an added bonus. “Outrageously good food! I love Asian / oriental food, and it's so frustratingly hard to find a good, clean chinese takeaway. Was so happy when I found Chop Suey Centre - I went for the chicken and prawn sweet and sour with egg fried rice. Unbelievable!!! You can tell that they use good quality produce, the chicken was incredible, prawns tasted amazing, the sauce was just right. Cannot wait to go again, already recommended this place to many friends!”

“This post is three decades overdue. I was born in Hackney in 1970. I lived around the corner from Well Street market until 1987 when I moved to Canada. I'm still in Canada. But I'm 99% sure that Sun On Chinese Take Away is the same store my brother use to send me to frequently to bring home food for him. It was red just like Sun On, and more or less in the same spot. I remember how much I loved the food. I still love Chinese food today, thanks to Sun On. If anyone from Sun On is reading this, can you please confirm that you are the same store that existed in the 70's and 80's.”

“Great experience overall the BBQ was so worth it. Costed around £19.70 each for 4 people for just the bbq then additional for drinks unless you get tap water. You got a choice of 2 between: cold beef noodles, bibimbap and a korean pancake. The cold noodles tasted great but there was only a bit of beef in it. The bibimbap is great too cooked in a claypot so got some crunchy sides. There is a 12.5% service charge which is kinda expected. Staff were nice and I loved the atmosphere. The toilets are kinda inaccessible for those who have walking problems cause they're up some stairs. So be warned. Spent around 2 and a half hours there. You can spend a shorter amount of time if you're ordering something other than hot pot or bbq. The price for the hot pot has now risen to be the same as the bbq and some other items. Great way to celebrate the mid autumn festival. Would come again.”
