“We have been going to the crispy cod regularly as a family. Great atmosphere, very clean and reasonably priced. Great choices on the menu, something for everyone. My children love the milkshakes and fried halloumi. It’s a family run business that take pride in what they do, I can’t recommend anymore”

“Amazing restaurant & a very high standard of food quality. I went with a friend and was met with lovely staff who make you feel very welcome and very attentive where needed. My family are from Corfu, Greece and I spent a lot of time there. The authentic flavours reminded me of being back! Beautiful decor and spotlessly clean (covid friendly). Plenty of Mediterranean food choices along with lovely wine & cocktails. We had complimentary pitta bread & tzatziki, grilled prawns with garlic, whole sea-bass and fillet of sea-bass! All absolutely delicious, highly recommend. One of the best restaurants in Orpington x”

“The food quality at Xian continues to draw us back. It was good to see a full restaurant testifying to others' agreement. Service good except when trying to get the bill. Generally the foibles of our group were catered for cheerfully. A good muscadet complemented chicken in three different guises and sweet and sour pork. Duck as a starter. Three course would have been too much for us.”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

Of course not, that’d be Sal’s Cafe in foots cray, but was it very nice with lovely and quick service, yes absolutely. In conclusion, I take myself very seriously when it comes to reviewing cafe’s and I’ve become infamous for my world renowned 1- Sal’s cafe rating system, and in the case of Ozzie’s Diner, they’re going to be taking away an 8, which is no doubt respectable. “This place is a true gem! Pad thai is my favourite dish of all time and Joy Kitchen makes the best in Orpington. Lots of veggie options which is really appreciated. The decor is nothing special but the food is really what shines through here. Have eaten in and had takeaway and enjoyed thoroughly both times.”
