“Great new place just opened. Italian bites & cocktails, cool decor. Pasta was home cooked & tasted great. Long Island ice tea was mixed the way it should be... About time we had a cocktail bar worth visiting.”

“First impressions when walking into this place is that they’ve clearly tried to set themselves apart here in terms of decor. Environment is modern yet also warm with a few individual touches that gives the place personality. We came on a weekday so the bar on the ground floor was pretty empty but can imagine is a good place to have a couple of drinks before headed upstairs to the restaurant. There is a good range of meats and seafood on the menu, and with a good selection on the set menu choices also. Although did enjoy the food nothing really “outstanding”. However, service impeccable and attentive and will come back again. Food 4/5 Value 4/5 Environment 5/5 Service 5/5”

“The first time visiting this restaurant and I was pleasently surprised. My friend and I went out for a catch up meal, we were greeted by a very warm waitress and our waiter was very polite and kind. The service was amazing, answering questions and also happy to mix up a mocktail for me. The food came beautifully presented and tasted lovely. I would say the only down side is there is only 1 toilet but it was clean and easy access. The tom yum soup tasted amazing and the noodles I ordered were exactly what I wanted. My friend was very happy with her choice of rice and Thai green curry. Will definitely be returning!! The waiter was a young gentleman who was very friendly and kind, means alot to have great service!!”

“Yet another top curry here with friends. Tried the balti this time which was very tasty and my friends had the dupiaza and karai, ans were equally as tasty. Great bonus to be able to bring our own drinks, because you know you can bring your favourite drinks, instead of what they used to have on offer. Well done chef great food and service.”

“The staff were very lovely, they worked with a smile on their face which was refreshing. The room was clean, bedding towels, bathroom etc. The heater was easy to work and warmed up the room relatively quickly. The only thing missing was a hairdryer which was disappointing.”

“Order my Star Shine quite regularly (once a month at least) never have any problems with their food. Great sized portions for what you are paying and the occasional free drink. I order via just eat for anyone looking for a good Chinese :)”

“Great little place. Have been quite a few times and always great. Breakfast is delicious - not quite 100% on the eggs but that is personal preference. We went with our son recently and they were very accommodating with a high chair. I would recommend caution taking a pram because the place is small and if it is busy - as it often is - it can be awkward managing that BUT it is busy because of how nice it is.”

“The dishes are very flavoursome, the nan breads thin and fluffy and the service always excellent. Have been dining in and ordering from here for many years now and this is the best Indian restaurant in the area without a doubt. “We've been a customer at Bella Donata (or just Raff's for us) since it opened and have always loved the lovely friendly atmosphere where everyone is given a warm welcome with lots of returning customers. Lots of Italian customers visit the cafe and so it's often the case to hear Italian being spoken and see espressos being consumed whilst standing. Depending on the time of day the cafe\deli can be packed out with people of all ages and our young grandchildren love going to Raff's especially for the hot chocolate or ice creams. The coffee is the best you will get in Beckenham.”

“We use this place all the time and won’t go anywhere else now. We’ve used them about 15 times now and never had anything but great service and consistent quality. The one time they missed something from our order they credited us for the next one (was only a spring roll). They’re quick and efficient too which is always a plus.”

“Situated opposite the church in the High Street. The venue serves breakfast, lunches and dinner, it also serves cocktails and has a venue at the back you can hire out. On this occasion we went for dinner, We had a bottle of prosseco , my partner had Classic Nachos and I had Mediterranean Halloumi for starters, for main my partner had Steak Fajitas and I had Spicy Fish Pot. The food was excellent as was the service and staff. Well worth a visit it caters for all tastes vegan etc.”
