“Went with my partner after reading the good reviews and we definitely made a very good choice. Food was really tasty chicken was like butter I had a chicken shashlik my partner had chicken jalfrazi Nan bread was so fresh as well as all the side dishes plus they had a very good wine menu. Service was really good and very friendly restaurant had low lighting and that made the ambiance even better *definitely recommend *”

“This has been our go to for the last 3 years. Really gutted to be moving and not being able to continue having the perfectly made food. Parkside is the only restaurant which delivers food piping hot to your door! Every other restaurant fails to do in our deliver area. Would definitely recommend!!!”

“Really lovely Hotel - Staff were friendly and very nice as was the room which was better then many "so called " 4 star hotels. Food in the restaurant was also of a really good quality .From a purely personal point of view and for the price paid it would be nice to have bathrobes and face flannels. That being said I would definitely recommend!”

“Lovely little pub in the heart of Chislehurst. We went for a roast last Sunday and it was delicious, really good quality food with fresh ingredients and a fair price. Definitely be back again this weekend for our roast fix! I recommend the apple & rhubarb crumble too, that was very tasty! Lastly, it was a nice touch that the head chef came out and spoke to us and other tables to ask if everything was good with the food, you could tell it was a lovely place to eat and the staff were very welcoming.”

“Little unexpected gem here. Appears like a wet fish counter but sit down, buy some bubbly and enjoy food that is way way better than you'd expect. Superb casual dining experience. Octopus was best I've ever had. Very highly recommended”

“I have just discovered this really lovely cafe/restaurant on a trip to Chislehurst. My meal was delicious (good old fashioned shepherd's pie with vegetables). The prices were very reasonable and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. In my opinion The Chestnut is one of the best cafes/restaurants in London.”

“Update........ Tryed the fish Friday menu tonight and was delicious, plus you can still order from the bistro menu so plenty of choices including whole lobster and surf and turf. There's a pre book Christmas menu available for the 1st-23rd of December which looks excellent value for money, small deposit required. Great building with plenty of history. Booked bistro for a Sunday roast dinner. Foods good, does get very busy especially for Sunday lunches. Nice bistro and courtyard. Staff amazing! Professional, polite and attentive. Will definitely revisit and try the fish menu available on Friday's. Very limited parking.”

“The best takeaway fish and chips that I have ever eaten. Fresh, moist fish in a well cooked batter, accompanied by fat, delicious chips. The food was still hot and in perfect condition, when we arrived home. Highly recommended.”

“We stayed for a night and the overall experience was great. The Inn has a lovely bar and restaurant offering variety of drinks and food, and breakfast is included with your stay. They have limited parking space, however there are ample parking spaces on the street. I was very impressed with the cleanliness, and the amenities. Breakfast next morning was a delight and can say one of the best breakfast so far!!!!”

“Went out for a quick drink after the food shop to the GPO in Eltham. It was such an awful experience so decided to pop to The Queens Head instead. Absolutely great atmosphere, staff were really on it with serving (it was busy). Very polite and having fun. It’s nice to see people behind the bar having a laugh and enjoying their jobs. Will definitely be making this out new regular.”
