“Under new ownership the last few weeks, and now the food is fresh and really high quality, the batter has a lovely crunch and the cod really light and fresh. Cash only at the mo, but the owner said once it gets busy he will start accepting card. Very friendly owner. Let's hope the standard stays as high as it is at the moment. Will be back.”

“Went in late Dec for a meal with my wife. The ambience is quite in your face so if you like a quiet restaurant, maybe here is not for you but they play nice music and it's not so loud you can't talk. Food portions are huge, which we appreciated! Ordered the shared platter for two with a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Waiters were pleasant enough. It's not fancy but it is honest, solid food (and a ton of it), with a robust party atmosphere! It's not cheap but it's also not expensive either. I'd go back.”

“I had funeral flowers done by Sweet P on Monday 27th February, 2023. They were the nicest flowers I have ever ordered from anywhere. Thank you so much a fitting tribute for a wonderful Aunt. The funeral was at 10am, so they had to deliver the tribute to the undertaker by 8am on a Monday morning. Nothing was too much trouble. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again.”

“I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. I’m really surprised it’s not full to capacity every single day. It’s a small family owned Italian with delicious food and the service is 10/10.”

“I have been coming here since 1981 when I was 10 years old. My father took us and his clients here when Valecci opened and me, the same, 25 years later. It was my eldest son’s 21st last night and this is where he wanted to come. 3 generations later and still the same classy experience; The food is exceptional, Enzo and his staff are the best in the business and nothing is too much trouble. If cost is your priority, this is not your kind of restaurant. If first class food served by exceptionally attentive yet subtle waiters in intimate and personal surroundings is what’s required, come here as you’ll never be disappointed.”

“Came here as it was en route to my destination, the reviews looked very promising; well let’s say that The Chunky Teapot did not disappoint. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a smile by Maisy who gave me a menu & advised me to come up to the counter when I was ready order. Now for the food, order what I usually would; Eggs Royale. Came really quickly & well presented. This is without a doubt the best Eggs Royale I’ve ever had. Poached to perfection, with a great half moon shape and tasty enough for a king. #ShoutOut2TheChef Reasonably priced food/drinks, clean, unique styling, very welcoming & friendly staff. “Today I visited Honeydale tea rooms ! I was blown away with the impeccable service by a young man named Lucas & a young lady Liberty ! They were so helpful , we were a very demanding table of lady’s that lunch and not once did their enthusiasm fade. They made us very welcome & we’re so helpful and polite . The food was very nice too ! I would definitely go back and hope to be served by these wonderful humans again! Many thanks ! A very happy customer!! :-)”
