“I live in the US and wanted to deliver flowers to my parents for their anniversary. I spoke with Maria but couldn’t decide what to order because there were so many beautiful floral arrangement options. She was kind enough to send me pics of all the arrangements via WhatsApp for me to choose, and even accepted PayPal. On the day of delivery, she sent me pictures of the flowers and message card via WhatsApp, and let me know as soon as it was delivered so I can call my parents and wish them! My mom was literally gushing over the beautiful flowers every day that week! The entire process from placing the order to delivery was thoughtful and an excellent customer experience. “Went here on a trip from peterborough to see our son and daughter in law, been looking forward to it since it has been done up. The truly traditional makeover is brilliant, little snugs, great choice of beers, staff so friendly and dog friendly, even a nice traditional fireplace. Not normally a sports pub as such I an told even though though back to the days of the West Ham games, but FIFA World Cup screened at the moment. We all had a meal too, not Michelin but it is pub grub after all , the Chicken Kiev was not good, Pork chops great and fish and chips average.. however just a great experience and place overall.”

Abbeville Apartments has wonderful modern flats and the building is provided with a lot of facilities (gym, cinema room, concierge service and more). “This cafe occupies a corner of Barking Learning Centre (an "up market" version of Barking Library) and is staffed mostly by local people who have learning disabilities, and are given training. The chef is professional and provides a good a la carte selection, as well as daily lunchtime specials. My favourite is the Relish Burger (comes as beef or veggie), but does tend to put too much salt on the chips (what any American cousins reading this would mistakenly call "fries"), so ask him to hold off (there are salt cellars on the tables!), which comes with a decent salad garnish. Not sure of opening hours, but closes mid afternoon. It can be booked for evening functions. Prices £-££.”
