“3 years old boiler was off for 6 months and it would not turn on anymore. At the first visit the engineer after a few tests understood the pump was jammed. We agreed I was going to buy a new one and he was going to fit it when I got the new piece. A few days later the engineer was back at my place to fit it and the boiler has been working properly since. The engineer was flexible with the hours (he came at 8pm the first time and left at 9:30pm), he was honest and most of all the price was fair. I would definitely reccomend him.”

“Fabulous, really good. I was very impressed with Stuart from our first conversation, through to the initial appointment and price estimate, and finally when the work was done. He was totally professional and genuine. With too many cowboys around it is hard to find honest people. I knew mine was an unusually tough dishwasher installation because of the space in my kitchen but Stuart was very creative in his planning. I genuinely can’t recommend him highly enough. “We had a service carried out on our boiler which found a leak and we’re advised to have a gas engineer investigate where in the flue the leak was coming from. My husband spoke to Peter today and he advised us to contact the original boiler installer to rectify the problem (as it’s their responsibility to install correctly) which we did and it’s being resolved. Peter was most honest and helpful. We will be recommending to anyone.”

“It has been roughly 11 months and we are very happy with the new walk-in shower! The old one was leaking and was making a huge mess, so we urgently needed to have it replaced. Dan did an amazing job of working around the existing bathroom to give us everything that we needed for my disabled father. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and he worked around our tight budget. Dan was also happy to help us with fitting products for a disabled person. The project took a little over 3 months and we needed drying time to air out the dampness between the shower room and kitchen below, but Dan kindly fitted us into his busy schedule so the work could be done as soon as possible. Dan worked quickly to replace the damp floor with new non slip tiles, installed a new extractor fan, new toilet and shower screen, and even fitted a unit for us. Both bathroom and kitchen were finished with paint and sealant. After a few weeks, we noticed leaking again, and it turns out it was because of some cracks in the wall tiles. Dan came back to sealed them up for us, and since then we haven’t had any leaks!”

“Really loved using A1 heating and plumbing for my issues. My radiator burst a leak and A1 came out within a minutes notice, stopped the leak and isolated the radiator, provided a quote for a new radiator and gave me a date of their earliest availability. They had also noticed that I required a new TRV on my other radiator whilst balancing the system and that was a nice quick easy change, will be painting it soon! The engineer was friendly, factual and abided by the covid-19 regulations. The pricing was very adequate as I looked around and found A1 to be the most reasonable given the timeframe of the leak! Will be using them in case anything else happens!”
