“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. “I was excited about this new Japanese restaurant that they open just yesterday. I went there today and I would definitely come back again. Staff are very friendly and my meal was really lovely (love the Unagi Don yum)! It does give me nostalgic memories of my trip to Japan in the past. I would recommend to give Bento Boys a try. “Amazing experience. The design of the room is so lovely, fresh and innovative. Loved the colour scheme and the combination of the old fashioned food hall style with new twists and colours. The food is as good as the design. Lovely easy going good with sophistication and great unique ingredients. Loved every plate we've ordered (enjoyed looking at them too) and even enjoyed the dessert (chocolate mousse + halva) which I wasn't sure about before ordering. Go and check it out.”

“Probably one of the beat Vietnamese restaurants in London. My friends and I went there after go aping in Alexandra Palace. We were the first customers to be seated at opening times at 5pm. Staff were accommodating. Food was comforting and scrumptious and served in great portions. Only took a few photos as we were all starving. Highly recommend.”

“Best curry in surrey we went this evening and had an amazing meal. Quiet time between Xmas and new year so had the place to ourselves but service was charming and unobtrusive. Had a lovely chat with the owner and his sister, the chef. The food was amazing! Great starters- Tandoori fish, spinach and kebabs but the star was the laal mas which had an incredible sauce with such a depth of flavour! Good value for money, good wine and we have already booked to go back in Jan and take friends.
