She wanted to connect her dashcam to that socket but could not do it because it was faulty . I contacted several garages like Halfords , Kwikfit but none could help because they said they don’t have an auto electrician on site . My car warranty company suggested another garage called Courtwood car services in Uxbridge where l live. I contacted the garage and they suggested taking my car in the following Saturday and they can look at it when they will be less busy. My daughter took the car in to the garage and was told to have a coffee in the Chimes shopping precinct while they checked the faulty cigarette socket. Within a short time she was contacted and the faulty lighter socket was fixed. As we suspected it was just a blown fuse as no other parts of the car was affected electrically. We were charged a norminal amount for the work done. We were impressed with the friendliness and professional ism of the person who dealt with us even though we were not regular customers. This garage will have our business in future and the potential for more business as we have 3 cars in our family . I had recently needed their services to repair body and paint damage to my car, and when I took it down I was given a quote before any work was done and I was fitted in promptly. The work only took a couple of days which was shorter than the timescale estimated as Matt knew I needed the car back ASAP. When I came to collect the car it had been Valeted inside and out and I was extremely satisfied with the finish on the job, it was like new. “I've used Hatch End Cars on and off for over 7years for airport trips. Some for business and some for family holidays. For my most recent family holiday (4 adults +3 children +luggage 7 pcs) we had booked a large merc Vito. It was comfortable clean and our driver was very helpful and accommodating. The car arrived on time and got to the airport on time and stress free. Booking a few days in advance and having the WhatsApp confirmation and communication makes HEC very reassuring. Our return was booked at the same time and when we arrived at the airport the immigration queues were horrendous over 1hr waits. I simply replied via their WhatsApp message confirmation to inform HEC and within minutes the driver called to reassure me that he is around the corner and will wait for my call before entering the airport parking. Smooth, easy, reliable and great communication is what you need after a long flight and airport immigration chaos. 100% recommend Hatch end cars. I will never go elsewhere. Another group of out same family did not book HEC- cancelled booking at short notice and didn't even turn up for pick up as they got the date wrong even after calling to confirm the day before.
