Cake in Orpington

“Tried this place by accident as the place around the corner was not open as advertised. Delighted I did. It's a food van in the shopping centre car park. The queue for lunch was reassuringly long, and with good reason; the food was tasty and generously portioned. Curry goat was lovely, as well as the jerk chicken. It was served with jollof rice rather than rice and peas but that made a nice change. Really nice Owner too. If I'm in the area will be sure to pay him a visit again”

“I have had a 1-on-1 sewing session with Linda, and she was so knowledgeable with her craft. She even accommodated me when I had an emergency at home. They were very helpful.”

“Love this place. Food is always fresh & tasty, staff are friendly. I find it very pram / baby friendly both because of the staff and the space available. The outside area out the back is a hidden gem. Cakes & pastries are also great. Probably my favourite lunch spot in Petts Wood!”

“Wow. This place is lovely. The staff are great. The prices are reasonable and the portions are HUGE! Took kids, hubby and mother. Kids all ordered different milkshakes and these were amazing. All ordered different food. (They do 3 sizes of burger, small (about hamburger size) 1/4 pound and 1/2 pound). The jacket potato was enormous. Cannot fault any of it. Will definitely be returning.”

“On dog friendly breakfast place I am aware of for miles, which is convenient when I pick my dog food. Staff are always friendly, the cafe is clean and the food is great.”

“Does a very good range of English breakfasts. Big, tasty, hot and not too expensive. Also more substantial meals sandwiches and snacks. Staff are friendly and service is reasonably quick. Pay and display parking outside.”

“Always well stocked and presented, staff are quite active and attentive, easy layout means everything is easy to find. Don't see the manager on the floor much, seen him once in the year or so I've been coming here, that was to open a till when they were busy, although the lady did have to ring 4 or 5 times lol very happy with the shop, enjoy coming here to shop. Also has air con!”

“I went in to Iceland today, my ms was giving me trouble so was draining to shop and get buses. Some angel of a lady who works there I think her name is Laura but not 100 percent noticed I wasn't right plus noticed I was upset and this beautiful human being offered to pay for a cab for me , what a kind caring and compassionate lady we had a moment and I will never forget her heart. I declined the cab but the amazing man who stands by the door pushed my trolly to the bus stop. I jst want to say thankyou I Will remember your empathy and kindness and just want to let you know your both amazing ❤️”

“Seasonal drinks have arrived, if you like orange chocolate the orange hot chocolate is lovely. Always had good service here even when they have a trainee as the barista manager seems to keep a close eye on things.”

“A crazy shop with every oriental cooking product you could want and a lot you wouldn't have a clue about. Not the cheapest but we'll stocked. Staff are friendly and helpful.”

“I went in today during rush hour and the speed they was working out you woudlnt belive. They was also friendly from (i belive his name is Daniel) Daniel and chloe. Daniel was working so fast it was hard to keep track of him he made my drinks really fast then i forgot my cake so i went back to get it and he was already on his way to give it to me. Friendly atmosphere too i saw chloe taking her time during rush hour to help a cleint with the app i thought it was some of the best customer care ive ever seen! Wasnt even that big of a line with that team working together!”

“Wonderful staff at this Costa. The coffee always tastes amazing. There’s two girls that work here who are absolutely lovely. Bubbly personalities. Always have time for a conversation with me. Even when the shop is busy, the tables are always cleared. They always have a full range of snacks available. They have air conditioning inside and additional seating outside. The toilet, although clean could do with a refurbishment. It’s very old with visible damages.”

“Great staff. Groceries and other items are priced almost as tesco. Sightly higher though. But the quality is really good here. Frozen items are better to be bought from tesco.”

“Good coffee. Drive-thru available, Wi-Fi available, toilet available. There is a QR code on the window next to the entrance door, scan it and input your car reg to validate your parking. Sustainable concept: paper cup recycle tray, ethical sourcing of coffee bean, etc”
