“Wonderful brunch with friends here on Sunday. They have plenty of seating, some fantastic breakfast/brunch options and really speedy and friendly service. Coffee was also good so we were very impressed with our visit and will definitely return to check out the champagne brunch deal (any breakfast dish, glass of champagne and juice or coffee for £17.95) Tip- if you’re driving into town then it’s best to park at the Castle Street or Sydenham Road car park and wander down to the restaurant.”

“Seems well run, safety conscious and in good working order. The trampolines are nice and bouncy unlike some bounce parks. All the staff come across well. My only complaint would be there are no foods catering for people with dietary requirements. However that is a nit pick. I've brought my kids here many times and we always have a really good time.”

“The only reason the room did not get five stars was a few little things that were evident but did not affect my stay. The ceiling above the air con showed black mould? And the clip on the toilet seat was missing but the seat worked just cosmetic. The room was big and there was a good quantity of coat hangers I did ask for more drinks and milk, staff was efficient. And pleasant and very helpful. Parking at night can be a bit tricky I came back late and all the spaces were full. I managed to squeeze in. Even though it was full the hotel was quiet.”

“The hotel is an amazing large old building with lots of nooks and crannies. Great garden. Looks a good venue to have a wedding. Food is good in the restaurant and service is good but can be a bit slow. This is tucked away from the main road.”

However I must shout out to Lorna and the chef at the Worplesdon, both of whom went over and above to make sure I was not only accommodated but had an excellent meal. “Amazing service!! The hotel is amazing! Went for a short stay for a cosy room and was worth the price. The room was equipped with good facilities to use such as a kettle, snacks, and toiletries. The staff are friendly and there was always a staff at reception to help us with anything. The hotel also let us leave our luggage there so by the end of the day we could collect it.”
