“We had my mum's wake at the Weir. My mum had lived in Walton near the Thames for most of her life and it seemed appropriate. I am so pleased we chose the Weir, the staff were excellent, very organised and attentive. I was very impressed, buffet was excellent and it made a difficult occasion much easier. “A decent stay. Very clean and well appointed rooms. Noise in the corridors was a pain and the lack of parking could also be difficult. But the reception staff are fabulous. Really nice to talk to someone who is knowledgeable and wants to help.”

“Stayed here for a funeral. We had travelled from Devon. The location was great, staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I did find was a stain on the bed runner and cobwebs in several places in the room. It is attached to a lovely pub where we went in the evening for a couple of drinks.”
