The Flintgate - Weybridge Pub
● Closed“Lovely pub this, food was excellent, the burger was one of best I have had in long time. Loads of space to sit outdoors, with pods and benches and canopy and parasol. Highly recommend this pub especially if you are a large group. Have a great selection of beers and drinks on offer.”

Alexander Pope Pub
● Closed“Very spacious and friendly pub. It’s in a beautiful location by the river, and has plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. I haven’t eaten here (only had drinks) but the menu looks good. Staff were friendly and toilets were clean.”

The Wells Tavern
● Closed“The Wells Tavern is one of Hampstead's best gastro pubs offering all that is needed to be a neighbourhood favourite including a great location, outside seating with heaters and large canopies, good service, tasty food and two floors offering formal and informal dinning. The prices are on the high end when compared to other areas of town, but it is part of the "Hampstead premium". The ground floor is a traditional bar with tables, sofas and all around dog friendliness. The food menu includes plates of chorizo with red pepper and gherkins, cod fishcakes, burgers and grilled tuna steak. Tables outside are at a premium when the sun shines. The upstairs is made up of three small dining rooms, with a more formal menu and setting. The scallops (£14.50) part of the starter menu where fresh and full of flavour, while the ribeye steak (£29.50) was tasty. The portion of chips could be larger but they were perfectly cooked. The duck leg (£19.85) was cooked perfectly.A great spot for drinks, a quick bite to eat or a more formal meal if you do not mind the premium prices.”

-
The Crown & Sceptre, Shepherd's Bush
● Closed“The Crown & Scepter is one of those rare backstreet neighbourhood pubs that survived the storm of closing pubs across the country through sheer quality. The reasons it survived are its amazing quality authentic thai cuisine, its great range of beers and its large and comfortable in and outdoor spaces. Its also typically not completely packed out allowing for drop in visits in a time of having to book ahead, even on a Friday night. I would recommend anyone in the area to take the extra steps to visit.”

The Red Lion & Cellar Room
● Closed“Enjoyed a birthday meal with a group of seven last evening. Christmas Dinner was superb, huge variety of accompanying vegetables which really brought home the phrase “all the trimmings”. Two of the group had general menu items which were equally enjoyed. Super service, excellent timings. Coming back for another this month, so good. The following Wednesday - came back with my wife for a second Christmas meal. Every bit as enjoyable as the first, so there is consistency. Thank you to all the staff!”

The Old Red Lion
● Closed“Popped in for a Sunday roast and was very impressed! Staff really friendly and welcoming, and a good range of beers. Sitting by the window with the rain pouring down was cosy. I had roast pork belly which was a generous portion, tender and well seasoned. Really tasty gravy, and we were offered extra part way through demolishing our meals. A real contender for best roast locally alongside the Prince of Wales - I’ll certainly be back.”
-

● Closed“Happened upon this place by chance on a Sunday morning,it was closed but I was intrigued by the best pub in London sign, came back 3 days in a row,the staff were super friendly, the beer and cider was excellent, especially the Bee Sting Perry, the pub food was good as well, packed with locals on a Tuesday evening obviously means they are doing something right, animal friendly and gives a CAMRA discount, not a fan of cashless places as a rule but if I lived in London it would be my local, highly recommended”
