“With friends we had our first taste of the food from Thai Spicy at The Kings Head for a Friday lunch. We all had starters and main courses the food was very well presented and very tasty. The service was exceptional by a very friendly lady who made us feel very welcome. I'm sure we will be returning in the not too distant future.”

“Had been falling out of love with pub food , appreciate fuel prices but food had been compromised in many pubs,Visited 3 black birds had dinner and was pleasantly surprised .food was excellent drinks were more than reasonable . Really friendly staff and nice. incredibly polite clientele,can't wait to go back.”

“Spent the afternoon and evening with a friend in the newly opened Millers. The landlord Paul made us very welcome and chatted about his plans and how he intends to run the pub. There are multiple screens that showed 6 nations rugby and the football. They dealt effectively and with no fuss when a group of ladies came in very drunk. The evening had a DJ and the place started to get busy. Paul had another 3 staff behind the bar, so getting served wasn’t a problem. The loo’s are in a separate building out the back. I’d like more choice on real ales, but that’s my only real criticism. Good luck with the future to all concerned and if Paul treats all his customers the way he treated us, he’ll make this pub a success quickly”
