“Lovely little Bistro. Food was very good and thought the price was very responable. There was 6 in our group and we all had mains and dessert and a drink worked out £25 per head and 3 of us had fillet steak which was beautifully cooked.”

“Based in a take-away kitchen complex we weren’t sure what we were expecting but it was some of the best food we’ve had in a long time. “My new favourite place to eat! The portions are big, the food is fresh and served piping hot. It's very healthy as well (i went for the beef steak with rice and spinach with a diet coke...only cost £8 in total). The man who runs the place is very welcoming and generous. He saw I had a lot of meat still left on my plate and so asked if I wanted more rice - no extra charge! This place is one of London's undiscovered gems!”

“I visited this lovely place a few months ago. I'd never tried Chaii, nor Milk Cake so I was in for a fabulous surprise! I had the Pink Kashmiri Chaii, and a Pistachio Milk Cake. I love my food and have a sweet tooth, have eaten in many countries but Oh My Days, this beautiful assault on my senses was sublime. The smooth, silky chaii and the beautiful texture and flavours of the milk cake were like heaven in my mouth. I really hope I'll be back in the area soon, definitely on my list to return!”

“Fantastic little family run cafe where we’ve been going for years. The chilli con carne is so good. Also had a nice caramel coffee frappe, though i think they might need to upgrade their blenders or put new blades as it’s not as smooth as it should be. Lots of small pieces of ice which makes it less enjoyable to drink.”

“As a Palestinian, I was very happy to see a place like Akub open in London. This quaint & cozy space serves innovative twists on traditional Palestinian cooking. Dishes like the Short Rib Fatteh, Bukjet Mousakhan & Shish Barak with Beetroot are delicious & pleasantly light. The dessert, especially the dead sea salt chocolate cake, is out of this world! Akub also serves Palestinian arak, wine & beer, so you get to enjoy a Taybeh or 2 with your meal ;) The decor is on point too - tasteful cultural symbols minus the clichés (no flags or rifles, though of course the spirit is that of Free Palestine).”
