The Post Room Cafe
“Great little coffe place off the main drag in Chiswick. Staff excellent, coffee lovely. If there early, go for the porridge it is delightful.”
The Wilds Cafe
“Wow!!!!! What an amazing find this place was. We had the most amazing boozy brunch! I was blown away by the vegan fry up, huge and full of flavour. BF had the best eggs benedict. Please visit the gorgeous place, wonderful food, amazing staff! The cakes are absolutely delicious too, think I found a new favourite spot!”
The Apple Blue
“Amazing! Came here for brunch over Easter weekend and, genuinely, the Dutch baby & fried chicken is 1 of the very best brunch dishes I have ever had. Simply delightful. Staff were great; really happy & friendly. Reasonably priced too with a great selection of cakes & pastries. We will be back for sure.”
Borneo Cafe & Bakery
“There’s no shortage off cafes on Green Lanes, but very few you’d want to visit twice. Borneo manages to get it right: good food, great coffee, pleasant staff and a welcoming space - buzzing but relaxed. The panini are terrific (try the goats cheese and roasted veg) and the (Turkish-style) apple pastry is a revelation.”
La Cafe Boulangerie
“Fab coffee, fab selection of pastries and absolutely wonderful staff who are always friendly and joking with you. A nice place to work from, and great for both breakfast or lunch. My favourite is the halloumi wrap that they do.”
Quarantacinque Bethnal Green
“Yesterday my Flight was cancelled and I've jumped into this Amazing cafè: the espresso was Amazing, a real italian espresso and the almond croissant was delicious (and I don't like croissant!). The Place Is cozy and the staff Is really nice and friendly. Andate tutti, si mangia bene e si viene accolti divinamente!”
Piccolo Cafes
“Beautiful fresh kooky space that is beautifully lit selling a very fine array of pastries and cakes, served by a wonderful happy team.”
Robertsons Tea & Coffee Shop of Oxted
“We were waiting for a train to Oxted and got chatting to another dog owner. They recommended this place, so we thought we would give it a shot and we are glad we did. A couple of lovely sandwiches and hot drinks in their calming sit down at the back of the shop. They even gave our puppy a little treat. Good portion of fresh salad on the side and great service from I presume the owners. Good chat too. A real local gem. Will definitely be back.”
Londis
“Sells all the basic things you would want from a corner shop. Has a nice selection of cards for special occasions and also a small stationary section. The people that work there are all friendly and polite.”
Hoxton Brothers Food
“An amazing shop with such a lot of great products, everything you could ever need and more. Great people too”
Orchard Fruit & Veg. Store
“With my experience, this is the best Fruit & Veg. store in town! With the best quality Fruits and Vegetables, and good customer service, on-top of their great prices.”
Delicatess Eastern European Food & Drinks Store
“Authentic Eastern European food. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices.”
Red Onion Cafe
“What a meal! This place is an absolute gem. Super friendly service from everyone, wonderful fresh and tasty food. The breakfast menu was fantastic. The cakes are all homemade (vegan friendly) and the coffee is delicious. Will be back to try tge lunch menu. I can't believe I have only just found this place. A new regular for sure.”

Kashmir Restaurant
“Can safely say this is one of - if not the best - curry I've had for years. Absolutely will return. Utterly charming staff, wonderfully flavoured food, relaxed atmosphere...if there were a winning formula for a restaurant, these guys have absolutely nailed it. Thanks to the team!”
Chook Chook Indian Railway Kitchen
“Amazing dinner, from the food to the service! Chilli paneer and samosas were lovely, our mains were incredible and the naan was the best I’ve ever had. Desserts were also delicious so all round, it was a 10/10 meal.”
Nawroz Restaurant
“This is hands down the best Kurdish / Kebab place on Green Lanes. Don’t be fooled by the glitzy mega kebab restaurants down the Main Street. This is the only place worth visiting on Green Lanes. They make their own tandoori bread, and once seated you are greeted with pickles and lovely warm soup. The kebabs are expertly seasoned and served without fuss - but with tons of intense charcoal grilled flavour.”
Thai Pie Stratford
“This is one of my favourite Halal Thai places in London. Great taste, lovely flavours, and good prices too. Saw the chef as he came out for one sec and authentic too. Plenty of seating options including downstairs. Lots of delivery orders, there was someone picking up every few mins (which explainsthe rating). But service was still good for us. Will be back soon for sure.”
The French Tarte
“Went once for their afternoon tea and another time for brunch. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious, and the staff are warm and friendly even with how busy it is. If you’re going for brunch I would recommend getting there before 11 to beat the rush as it does get very crowded in there on the weekends.”
Delightfully Greek
“I don’t even know where to start, I order from here regularly via Uber eats, it’s up there with one of my favourite places to order from in Woking. I’d never had Greek food before Delightfully Greek came to town and I was seriously missing out. The food is always amazing, weather you have the gyro, box or the pastries. Such big portions and really good prices. It’s a shame this place isn’t always busy when I walk past because it deserves to be. I also think a lot of people aren’t aware it’s there so that doesn’t help either. Things you NEED to try- tzatziki, tyrokafteri and the spinach and feta pastry. Also received a freebie today so thank you very much for that; thank you for always accommodating when I ask for a mix of both above sauces too! Really hope you guys stay around for years and years to help get me my Greek fix! ”
La Brioche
“Excellent bread, cake and biscuits and much more including very helpful staff and service.”
11 Coffee & Co. Sheen
“A gem hidden away in East Sheen. I’ve visited many times and rave about it to all my friends back home. It’s the reason I fell in love with carrot cake. It is so good that I haven’t found any other that compares. Highly recommended! It’s truly a lovely cafe with many delicious options and the best coffee in town. Fast service, charming ambience and warm and friendly staff. Everything about this place is worth a visit.”
Fuel Deli & Coffee
“Lovely place, staff is AMAZING, super friendly, polite and helpful. They make everything fresh daily and the food is outstanding. Very professional baristas that are ready to make any new drinks even if it’s not on the menu. 5* !!”
Pickled Pantry
“We had a lovely breakfast here. The service was first rate, with the staff friendly and accommodating. The food was of a good standard and well presented with fresh, tasty and good quality ingredients. The childrens menu was a winner with good choices and also very good value. A very pleasant experience for our family!”
Butter Bakery Bar & Cafe
“Two of us stopped here this morning en route to a chocolate making class nearby. We only had a coffee and tea but it was a lovely cafe and the owner is super cute and friendly. We'd definitely stop for food if we were ever in the area again and had the opportunity.”
La Dinette - Muswell Hill Café
“Something amazing! my daily ritual is to have a cup of coffee here”
Belle Amie
“Delicious breakfast and coffee, super friendly staff! This little gem is the perfect cozy spot for a rainy day in London. Can’t wait to go back and try more of the menu. Possibly the best halloumi I have ever had! Recommend making a reservation on weekends.”
Duncan Terrace Cafe
“Delicious English Breakfast! A bit lighter than a greasy spoon diner and just as flavorful. The gluten free toast was exceptional, and I was a big fan of the coffee. My only critique is that the eggs were slightly overcooked for my tastes; I wish I had gotten a bit of runny yolk. Still tasty! Fast, friendly service. Cute outdoor seating. Would visit again!”
Cafe Venezia
“The best coffee, delicious food and the staff are so accommodating. Great place for breakfast/lunch.”
