Birthday party in Uxbridge

“Been here twice now to two of their escape rooms. We had Frances this time, who was fun, energetic and really made the experience. Gave us all of the information we needed, set the scene and let us start. The escape room itself was really fun, atmospheric and Frances got in a good jumpscare. Would really recommend the Shepherds Bush branch of Escape London, all of their staff that we've met have been lovely. And if you get Frances running your game, you're guaranteed fun! Thank you for the awesome experience and definitely will be back!”

“Newly opened (July 22), and very welcome to Ickenham. Smart interior design. Menu with some unfamiliar items which are mostly just your curries under different names. Extensive vegetarian options. Standard bar. Food was really good. Service a little hesitant as team settle in. Prices low now because of opening promotion.”

“Probably the best greasy spoon I've been to, very polite staff I'm not very keen on tomatoes and mushrooms but loved the fact they made suggestions to sub what I didn't want A lot of cafes would just remove the items and wouldn't offer to substitute”

“60th Birthday lunch We invited 12 couples for lunch to celebrate our birthdays last Sunday. We were fortunate to use the private area which was set out beautifully for our party. The service throughout the meal was very good, and the food on our set menu was delicious. We all enjoyed our visit and would definitely return soon.”

“This is a lovely pub in a lovely location. Staff are super friendly and the food is very good. There's good parking and you can even pull up a boat, if that's your style, along the canal that's right by the beer garden. Highly recommended!”

“I spend a lot of time traveling around the country, (London, Glasgow, Birmingham etc) and being a bit of a curry addict I always check out a local restaurant, some good, some no so good. But if you're ever in the Hayes area, on the Uxbridge Road, do not hesitate visiting Grapes Tandoori. The food and the service is excellent. The staff are friendly, courteous, and the food is superb. All dishes are cooked fresh, with generous portions, and the taste is amazing. I love spicy, so the vindaloo is my go to dish, usually it can be just chilly power hot, but this one was Incredible. Hot, yes but you could still taste all the other flavours a good curry should have - superb. and check out their mushroom rice -again unbeatable. I definitely will be going back.”

I couldn’t tell you what i had it was a dish with chicken in it , I let the waiter choose for me. But it was the best I’ve ever tasted. Ordered a lot (more than we could eat as portion sizes were bigger than we expected), everything tasted great and fresh. Added bonus was the service, the owner was in (Hassan) and he ensured they delivered beyond expectations. Nothing was too much trouble, words are not enough to show appreciation. The prices are reasonable and all staff are friendly. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you guys for an amazing night.”
