Great service, Beit Hashita Cucumbers in brine the best pickles in the world I am a Gentile in the 60s my Nan used to take me to the Egg stores Stamford Hill and the Kosher deli in Ridley rd Market for brined Cucumbers, chopped liver and herring and my passion for them has never diminished even though I am now a oap, I will return to this retailer in the future. Thank you for evoking memories of days gone bye.”

“I used this store regularly 30 years ago when I lived in the area. I moved away and today I was local so thought to go and see if the shop was still trading. And it is! I went in to get some spices, got chatting with the owner and he actually remembered me! Such lovely friendly people and they really do have a vast selection of spices and ingredients. “Best Sunday roast in London! If you like meet this is the place. Even the bloody Mary has a meaty hint, thick and punchy. We had the all in Sunday roast, and totally recommend it for a party of more than 2. The meat was exquisite but the veggies and potatoes were better than any other place in London! Don’t be put off by the gravy, it’s thinness is overcome by its rich flavour.”

“I have been coming here 3 or 4 times a week since it opened in 2017 and the coffee is absolutely perfect. Service is exceptional and they never miss a beat, even at busy times. I have been a regular at this cafe, through a couple of previous incarnations, since the late 90's when it was also exceptional. “We just had a cod and chips from here and WOW! The batter was light, not oily at all and the fish was so fresh and tasty. We got a take away and the fish and the chips were still crispy by the time we got home (mind you we are only 6 mins from this place). All in all 5 out of 5. Love it!”

“Extraordinary restaurant focused on Schnizel. Varied menu with delicious options and different types of meat (pork, chicken, beef and fish). The dishes are huge and well accompanied. I recommend the Napolitano and the Cordon Blue. The fries are also very good. Very good chocolate cheesecake. Very good attention. Extraordinary musical atmosphere. Clean bathrooms.”

“We've been a customer at Bella Donata (or just Raff's for us) since it opened and have always loved the lovely friendly atmosphere where everyone is given a warm welcome with lots of returning customers. Lots of Italian customers visit the cafe and so it's often the case to hear Italian being spoken and see espressos being consumed whilst standing. Depending on the time of day the cafe\deli can be packed out with people of all ages and our young grandchildren love going to Raff's especially for the hot chocolate or ice creams. The coffee is the best you will get in Beckenham.”

“Amazing dishes and service and place! We got the rice covered with leave for the starter and it was so good! Also the lamb with pita bread was amazing. We asked to cut the chicken wrap in two and they were so kind to cut it nicely! The service in general was amazing and so kind. Also the place was very pretty with the gold frame without the paintings :) And I really really enjoy baklava! They said they prepare it for 4 days. The quality was so much higher from other baklava on the street. I would like to come back for sure if I want to have Greek food!”

“This restaurant really is our little ray of sunshine. My partner and I have returned to this restaurant over the years when we crave a 'naughty yet comforting' Sunday brunch. We order the same every time; Super breakfast, Lavazza coffee and a banana milkshake. The super breakfast is not for the faint hearted! We often just eat this meal only that day and in terms of value for money, quality and your traditional builder's cafe food, we love it. The homemade bubble and squeak is my favourite part. The milkshakes are thick and delicious. Their attentiveness to their customers is fabulous. The regular staff recognise us and recite our order every time. It makes us smile as honestly we are not there all the time! I would advise eating in rather then delivery. The service is quick and it tastes so much better freshly hot.”

“I would have liked to have been able to leave 4.5 stars. Coffee tastes really good, but not the best. I ordered a flat white with Oatly Barista which is my usual but never had one made so lacking in creaminess before. It was completely watery in texture. The barista did mention that the other brand of oat milk they use (which I’d never seen before) is easier to work with so maybe he just needs a little more practice with the Oatly. That being said I’d come here again. The shop has a chilled vibe, and the baristas are friendly and helpful. My colleague had a toasted sandwich and said it was a 7/10. A good experience overall.”
