Best sushi restaurants in London

“Our Italian friend who is very picky when it comes to foods introduced this place to us a year ago and since then we have been eating pizza only here! We have tried most of the pizzas in the menu and loved them all. You definitely need reservations specifically for the weekends. Their quality deteriorated recently but still the best in London. Staffs are not as friendly as before”

“A small place near the HG station. Good atmosphere with great selection of starters, pasta, pizza and desserts. I went for a special, a very meaty and spicy pizza. Tasty, burnt where it supposed to be burnt, quality meats and good cheese. Recommended.”

“Outstanding pizza. Fresh tasty ingredients. Great fluffy bases and a great menu with some stand out creations. Mumbai Madness, Caribbean Hot and Margarita is my favourite. The nachos are awesome too. Try the chicken sides. They are fab also.”

“Kiyoto is hands down the best sushi in the area. Great selection of appetisers sea bass carpaccio was amazing. Superb sushi including their delicious crunch rolls. Nice service. It’s fairly quick to eat there so good for 60-90 mins. But you won’t be disappointed.”

“My first visit. It is located near Ealing Common station. A big restaurant with a very wide selection of Japanese food, excellent service and nice ambience. The sushi, veg tempura and the miso tofu we ordered were quite good. The seaweed wrap could be crisper. Will definitely return to try the rest of the food on the menu.”

“This.is.good I ended up there very casually, as my partner and myself were waiting for IKEA to put together our online order. We started our dinner with takoyaki and ebi ten roll, octopus balls and a sort of prawn salad, both were incredibly flavourful. We then continued with a sushi platter, which was an absolute delight, and a dragon roll. Each piece of the sushi platter was delicious, from some sashimi cuts of fish I’ve never had before to salmon nigiri (yes, salmon nigiri can actually taste of something). Dragon roll was also good, you can feel the taste of every single ingredient Highly recommended”

“Incredible cute restaurant - and my favourite restaurant in the neighbourhood. I was initially going to leave a poor review about the place, given that we waited quite a long time for the food, how expensive it was, and it seemed as though they microwaved a couple of the dishes on the menu - but all these thoughts melted away as soon as I tried the food - and the wait had been completely worth it. Highly recommend their legendary Takoyaki. Quantities may come across as small, but it certainly isn't - they serve far more than most other local Japanese places. This was by far the best Japanese food I have ever tried so far, and I have visited practically every Japanese restaurant in the borough, and this ranks at the top of all of them - beating the more lavish and posh restaurants in the area by miles. I don't think any other Japanese restaurant in Ealing/Acton ranks as high as this particular one. And the staff... they were incredibly friendly, and apologised after the long wait. No wonder they're always so busy! 10/10. Only criticisms would be to perhaps stir the edamame whilst it's cooking, to prevent salt being concentrated in certain areas, and maybe lower the price of the drinks and/or offer free tap water. Increasing the portion sizes of sushi to fit the price would also be ideal, given that the sushi is the only thing that is more expensive than the expensive Japanese restaurants. But other than that, please don't change a thing!”

They loved the amount of choice that was available. Price wise it isn't what one would call cheap, but definitely feels worth the price. Will be looking to go again before 2023”
