The Blossom Montessori School
● Closed“Absolutely BRILLIANT pre school. The staff are so friendly and hands on. The manager goes above and beyond, recognising a childs potential, no matter what their ability and nurturing it. They regularly update on your child's progress and work with you to bring them on. I would have no hesitation in recommending this excellent nursery”

Sudbrook School
● Closed“Sudbrook is a lovely school, the children are loved and taught and come out with a good background. There is a great mix of physical and mental work coupled with healthy amounts of play. Honestly we could have done with having longer hours but if that's the worst problem then they are doing very very well. Highly recommended for your little ones. Not recommended as a sixth form college :) ......................”

Tadpoles Nursery School Kensington
● Open“Excellent. I’m not usually given to posting reviews, nor have I been prompted, but I think good work should get recognised. My two year old daughter has seen a dramatic improvement in her communication and social skills since joining. Almost one on one attention, regular parent updates and a genuine focus on her development. She is counting, singing and very happy.”

345 Nursery School Balham
● Closed“I cannot recommend Oaktree highly enough. I couldn’t have hoped for a better introduction to the world of schooling for both my daughters. Oaktree is committed to working with parents to produce well-rounded, happy, inquisitive and settled children ready to take the next steps of their learning journey with enthusiasm. I feel that the nursery has done a fantastic job of getting my children ready for primary school, not just by providing them with a solid foundation in the early years curriculum but also by focusing on their personal and social development. I love the focus on “fun” in everything that they do at Oaktree – amazingly the children think they have been playing the whole time and come out learning loads. There are so many creative, play and learning opportunities available from sport, to Spanish to yoga and science that there is something to keep every child busy. Oaktree strives to work in partnership with the parent body and over the years has taken on many parent suggestions to improve facilities and the use of technology to enhance the experience of the children and parents. I have loved being able to access Tapestry to see what Lilah was doing every day at nursery and was impressed with the level of detail provided by the staff members. Oaktree is a truly local nursery. Shape hunts around the neighbourhood, number hunting at the local grocery store, trips to the Fire Station, performances for the local pensioners, all help instil a lovely sense of community in the children at a very young age. Finally, what can I say about the Oaktree staff members. Both my girls developed strong bonds with their teachers that have persisted long after their time at Oaktree. I love the fact that both co-owners of the nursery, Jill and Katka, are deeply involved in the day to day running of the nursery and interact with and get to know every child. My elder daughter thrived in the warm and nurturing environment provided by her teacher Ms .Lee and Lilah, despite being quite young for her year, has bounced off to school confidently because of Ms. Chantelle’s support. We will miss our time at Oaktree!”

Montessori Garden Nursery School
● Open“Montessori Garden Nursery creates such a collegial, almost family-like dynamic between teachers, children and parents. This sense of shared responsibility makes me feel as a parent that my child is receiving the best possible care - the teachers are as invested in my child's development as we as parents might be. Moreover, child development includes socialisation with others and the notion of being a 'good citizen of the classroom'; self care and care for others is emphasised. As parents then, the sense of shared responsibility also means that we come to view the nursery less as a service provider, and more as a partner. The blurred lines can be productive, as above, but if you are searching for a 'business-customer' relationship (understandable given the costs involved), this was not our experience. Rather, we felt part of the school and our child loved to go every morning without fail!”
