Akira Restaurant at Japan House London
“I been here for afternoon tea experience as a birthday present and it has been such an unforgettable memory. We had a mixture of creative sushi and sweets minimal the Japanese way ... They have a great choice of special non green tea like the Hinoki a wooden one amazing! I will be back !”
So Japanese Restaurant
“Visited the place for the 1st time when it’s moved to city from Piccadilly Circus. Taste hasnt changed and remains high / above average tier among Japanese restaurants in London. Strongly recommend the grilled Eel rice, great portion at reasonable price. Decoration seems changed, used to be more high end decor while now looks more average (i.e more formal than wasabi say) but depends on if you are coming for taste or ambiance.”
Miyako at Andaz London
“It was a very pleasant lunch, The sushi was fresh and tasty. I would recommend it to a friend and go again myself.”
米 kome japanese sushi
“I've only ordered off Uber Eats so far but the food is incredible. I've had two different bento boxes, the beef teriyaki and the chicken teriyaki. Both were really great. Good value for money, tasty, and filling. The Japanese wings and bubble tea are pretty good too. I would recommend it to everyone. Going to keep trying things from here including the sushi.”
JAPANESE KITCHEN
“Very fresh ingredients, large portions and well decorated. Definitely trying again”
Atariya Foods Swiss Cottage
“My favourite local sushi restaurant. They update their menu quite regularly so you always have new options! The food is delicious, fresh and well cooked and there is a variety of dishes to choose from.”
Ginza St. James's - Japanese Restaurant
“What an amazing place! Vey delicious food! I left the place feeling very full. The teppanyaki was impeccable - the best in London. I especially liked the chicken, the meet was so succulent. The service was incredible, I felt very much cared for. And considering the price, the quality of food and portion size was more than generous. Will definitely come back for more.”
Tombo Japanese Cafe
“Staffs are SUPER SUPER nice, food and drink were delicious, I can choose to add less sugar for the drink which is nice because I like less sweet beverage. The dessert are nice too because they weren't too sweet, it would be perfect for me if the dessert has a richer matcha flavour. I'll definitely go to this cafe again if come to London again in the future!”
Donburi & Co London
“Excellent takeaway option. I order from here whenever I'm in a 3 mile radius and it shows staff take extra care with orders. They also have imported drinks and sweets :)”
Kintan Japanese BBQ
“Great attentive service. It's busy so be sure to book. The set meals are plenty, you won't go hungry. The meats are fresh and flavoursome and with the fun of cooking it yourself on the BBQ it's a great place to bring friends and family. Highly recommend.”
Chotto Matte London
“This is possibly my favourite restaurant. The food is stunning and the service is lovely. We've been a couple of times already and nothing has ever disappointed, although we like to book earlier in the day before it gets crazy busy. Their bottomless brunch is amazing and I recommend it to everyone.”
Yokoso Korean & Japanese Restaurant
“Dined here after a motinee at The Space and was not disappointed. Staff were super polite and friendly. The are separate menus for Japanese and Korean dishes which makes it easy to select what you want. I ordered the prawn gyozas and king prawn bipambap all of which was fresh and delicious. I was asked if I wanted mochi and couldn't be rude. Lovely way to finish off my meal. There was no rush to leave and I did not feel awkward dining alone. Will definitely visit again.”
Oriental Food Cooking Class
“My 12 year old son and I took the Japanese desserts class to learn how to make Mochi and it was fantastic. Simon and Hanna were excellent teachers and super knowledgeable. The class was very well run and friendly and they were very patient with my chatty son and helped him to learn all the techniques. I would recommend their classes to anyone with an interest in Asian food and we will definitely be back. Thank you Hanna and Simon!”
Soldeli - Japanese Sushi, Sake, Groceries, Online
“Delivery arrived early morning and pleased it's still frozen (a bit of softness I can feel though). Wanted to order uni but too expensive and out of stock. I was told it's very short stock. But the other products are good and convenient.”

Sushi In
“They've come a long way since the older days of before. It used to be just cobbled together bland rubbish, but now, wow they've certainly upped their game. Food is top notch, tasty and very reasonably priced. (And the one who takes the orders ain't half bad looking either ;-) )”
Aburi Japanese Restaurant
“Excellent and authentic Japanese food, was my second time going in a week and I’d do it again! The sushi is very very good and I also liked the tonkatsu curry. Prices might be a bit high however it is so worth it, given how good the taste is.”
The Japanese Canteen
“Good food for reasonable price in the centre of city. Any chicken soup is good but I can highly recommend one with Sichuan pepper - chicken tantanmen noodle soup. On my image it is on the left. That is something very special really. And it is quite cheap here 8.5 £ or so. Overall place is just fine, clean.”
