The Railway Tavern
● Closed“Review of The Railway Tavern, Bexley Village. Me and wife went there for the first time, on a Sunday night in March 2022 - having heard they had karaoke. Arrived about 7.30 and it wasn't very busy so we got high chairs at the bar. DJ Duncan was already set up on a stage in the corner; he does a regular Sunday night session until 11pm. It's a bright, nicely laid out pub on the High Street, unsurprisingly round the corner from Bexley Rail Station and handy for buses including the 229. By 8.30 it was busy and by 9 it was HEAVING, mostly with the late 20's crowd but a fair few coffin dodgers (like us!) and one or two harmless weirdies. The hard working barmaids were run ragged. Great music and singers (mostly, but, well, it is karaoke!). Drink prices reasonable; £10 for a single Bacardi, a bottle of coke and a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord (which was excellent!). A great night out. Recommended.”

The Millers Arms
● Closed81 Bexley High Street, Bexley DA5 1JX, United Kingdom“Spent the afternoon and evening with a friend in the newly opened Millers. The landlord Paul made us very welcome and chatted about his plans and how he intends to run the pub. There are multiple screens that showed 6 nations rugby and the football. They dealt effectively and with no fuss when a group of ladies came in very drunk. The evening had a DJ and the place started to get busy. Paul had another 3 staff behind the bar, so getting served wasn’t a problem. The loo’s are in a separate building out the back. I’d like more choice on real ales, but that’s my only real criticism. Good luck with the future to all concerned and if Paul treats all his customers the way he treated us, he’ll make this pub a success quickly”

The King's Head
● Closed“Up to last weekend, my boyfriend and I referred to this place as "the wonky pub". Because, well, from the outside it does look quote wonky (in a charming way, don't get me wrong). However, we have now gone for Sunday roast and we have found the pub wasn't crowded, the food was quite good and the interior is tasteful. The staff were also prompt and very pleasant. I would recommend and we will definitely go back to enjoy the wonkyness some more.”

Seabreeze
● Closed34 Bushey Hall Road, Bushey WD23 2ED, United Kingdom“The best fish and chips in Watford. It's a shame the rating system only allows me to go to 5 because this is easily a 6 star restaurant. Delivery time within 30 minutes. Not only do I think both the fish and chips are divine, but they are consistently delicious every time I order. No other restaurant has ever been this consistent. There are a lot of fish and chip restaurants, but this is the one you should be ordering from. Many thanks, will order again soon.”

The Ravensbury
● Closed“Popular location with good ambience inside.Service was very quick (midweek dinner). Staff were great. Food taste and quality - great Though it's expensive, the quantity of the food is larger than other places to justify Samosa chat - 5*s Kerala fish curry -5*s Desi chicken curry - 4*s Chilly chicken - 4.5*s Butter and Garlic naan - 4*s Fruit juices were just good enough. Staff were so lovely to offer a small cake on my wife's Bday along with a candle on it. Highly recommended restaurant.”

Greyhound Cafe London
● Closed“Very underrated place. One of my favourite places to eat out at, only discovered it 3 months ago and I’ve already been here quite a few times. Thai food is often inauthentic in London, but at Greyhound Cafe you will surely find the food to be authentic. Do not miss out on their Holy Basil Chilli Bomb, or their Drunken Seafood Noodles dishes. The staff are very friendly, however, sometimes it is difficult to get their attention when trying to call them over to our table.”

Chan Takeaway
● Closed91 Barnehurst Road, Welling DA7 6HD, United Kingdom“Chan's serves lovely food ... it's a hit in the Bexleyheath and Barnehurst areas. The people taking orders are very polite and delivery is prompt and free (if over a certain amount) (or you can pick it up yourselves). The salt and pepper chicken is too good. Their duck chow mien is always a hit in my house and the king prawns are fresh and succulent. The vegetable spring rolls are just as crispy and tasty as they are supposed to be.”

The Dickens Tavern
● Closed“Came to London for a weekend away and stopped by for a family meal. Food was lovely and so many varieties of drinks to choose from, the pub is well stocked. Bar area looks stunning with the decor, the place is kept really clean and tidy considering how big it is inside. Joanne the manager was a star and so polite, friendly and funny made us feel so welcomed, believe she was working with a lad called Michael who served our food (10/10 for the fish and chips and burgers) and was very helpful and an absolute pleasure. Pub also has a pool table which was very cool as we haven’t seen any in our short stay here. Will definitely be back when we visit London again we can’t wait”
