Lal Akash Restaurant
● Open“We regularly use Lal akash. Specifically, we collected a takeaway on Tuesday evening. The food was tasty and very well made. The chef was extremely friendly and even made a point of trying to call us to let us know that the food was ready for collection so that it would not become cold. Well worth a visit.”

Nawab to go
● Open“Wow! a little gem of an indian takeaway hidden away in a small frontage... but definently doing big things Blink and youll miss it... We only happend to stumble across this place whilst parked up to get milk from sainsburys We ordered starters and mains for three. Food was plentiful and actually lasted for two days. A small portion if salad and free popadoms and dips came with the meal too We had the mixed grill + nan, chicken jalfrezi, chicken sagg and chicken dhansak (didnt order rice - we cooked that ourselves) The grilled mixed meat was exceptional. The guys have a proper tandoor and the meat was excellent quality. The lamb which can normally be tough was melt in the mouth. Spicing was really good with authenic levels of corrieander seed and chilli. There was little to no fat The best dish was the jalfrezi which was the nicest i have ever had. Completely different to what im used to. The chicken was so perfectly cooked. Soft juicy moist and the veg retained flavour and colour. Its actually top end resturant quality. The dhansak had a lovely balance of heat, sweetness and sourness. Really creamy lentil base. Fresh chillies are used to bring heat to the dishes so be warned and ask them to make it to your taste. The sagg was really fresh and again chicken cooked to near prefection. Nice and garlicy with again balanced spicing and a decent level of warmth Nann bread was average, it came with the mixed grill. Salad too was average. Quality of food was actually surprising coming from such a small place - well worth a try. The guy at the desk said their chef had 25 yrs experience which i well belive Thankfully these guys also deliver and their menu has taken pole position on our pile of indians to order from”

Sher E Bangla
● Open“overall I had a decent experience. The menu had a good variety of dishes to choose from and I ordered the chicken tikka masala and one of biryani. The food arrived within the estimated delivery time and was hot and fresh. The chicken tikka masala was flavorful, However, the dishes were not as spicy as I would have preferred, so I had to add my own spices at home. On the positive side, the staff were friendly and helpful when taking my order, and the delivery was prompt and hassle-free. In summary, while Sher E Bangla did have some positives, such as friendly staff and prompt delivery, the food was not as spicy as I would have preferred but overall delicious foods very recommended”

Papadom On The Hill
● Open“Been coming for years and it gets better every time! The chicken is 0always moist and the flavour is unbelievable. Orange finger chilli's in the balti are out this world. Cannot understand the low reviews as we have tried many Indians in the area and nothing compares. I make curries from scratch all the time so know my stuff and this is the best!”

Ranna Ghor
● Open120 Croydon Road, Elmers End, Beckenham BR3 4DF, United Kingdom“First time using Ranna Ghor. We had one issue - received chicken Tikka Masala instead of paneer. I called the restaurant and they were genuinely sorry and very apologetic and got us a replacement promptly. How they react to a problem is often how I judge a place and this was good customer service. As for the food... excellent all round and we will definitely use again. Impressed!”
