-
Amazon Fresh
● Open“I abhor Amazon, but I have to admit I love this concept for a shop. It’s pretty nice to fill up your bag with no employees breathing down your neck and then just walk out. I had to try it in London and personally I wish more stores would figure out how to recreate this concept!”

Oakwood Food Centre
● Open“If you are a wheel chair user, you cannot go there, the space to walk between the alleys is very small, but they have pretty much anything you need.”
-

Waitrose & Partners Sanderstead
● Open“My favourite place for groceries! It's not a massive branch bit they stock pretty much everything and since it's around residential area, it's mostly families visiting. I love bringing my little one to do a bit relaxed shopping. Plenty of parking spaces available.”
-
Waitrose & Partners
● Open“Lovely bright, open & airy shop, a great outlet, (just a shame it occupies what was a great large pub). Only downside is there are disabled spaces opposite the entrance which appear not to be managed, as often non-blue badge drivers park there.”

-
Sainsbury's Local
● Open“So impressed how this store has managed this year with Covid and keeping everyone safe - well done!! Staff at entrance always friendly and helpful, as well as at tills, store always well stocked, great management of all customers to queue appropriately and wearing masks, hand and trolley cleaning gel always available. Some constructive criticism- staff stocking up shelves sometimes block up an aisle with their trolleys and can be friendlier when customers are trying to get past or need to get to an item - friendliness costs nothing. And thank you for the time for NHS staff to shop - it has been so immensely helpful, just for that I'll remain a loyal customer!! Oh and also because of the amazing range of vegan foods and organic fruit and veg you stock!! Thank you Sainsburys!!”

The Food Hall
● Closed22-24 Turnpike Lane, London N8 0PS, United Kingdom“One of the best Asian stores in North London. You'd find pretty much everything here. Spice aisle is very crammed. Limited vegetables out at the front but to tell you the truth they are very fresh compared to other Bengali (I'm a Bengali myself) and Indian stores on Turnpike Lane. We buy our spices, herbs, Chutney, spice packets (Shan, Laziza), Ghee, dessert tin (Wakefield's Mango flavoured custard) and Ahmed and other brands Jelly (whichever is on offer or available) as it's extremely hard to find Halal or veggie friendly jelly from the mainstream superstores. Negative: No parking space. Hikes prices during Ramadan/Eid ( it"s not just them so can't blame them) Couldn't buy Nido because of the rise in the price. It's usually £2.99 for 400g.”

ALDI
● Open“I came here on the morning of prime drink release. There was a long queue. Waited for like 20min. Then I reached to the til. I was next in line to grab my prime drinks. Then there was a announcement that they run out. I was heart broken. Just came from 12hrs at hospital. Then this lady worker saw me and said you was next person in queue right ? I said yes. She hold on s sec. She went back to the warehouse and got me her own 3 drinks and gave it to me. I couldn't belive it. I will forever grateful for her. I wished I knew her name and I could share that. And there are people selling this bottles for £20 each. So all respect to her. And I hope it will come around a kindness to her. Aldi done well or orchestrating this whole release. Other places was a mess.”

Supermart Chingford
● Open“It took me 4 years since I move to Highams Park to discover this great store, they have absolutely everything you need for cooking nice fresh meals. I hardly buy anything in the big supermarket chain in Highams park now, this is a much better spot for vegetables, fruits, nuts, pasta, grains, beans, bakes and many more, also you can grab some amazing bargains available there and the Gozleme is a life saviour when you don't want to cook. As a plus the staff is lovely, always friendly and happy to help.”
-
The Food Warehouse by Iceland
● Open“Love this shop! Well stocked. Great prices. Good multi buy deals. I feel sorry for the staff tho as they seem very understaffed - to the point someone ran in grabbed a box of something on display near the doorway, and ran off with it across the car park. A member of staff ran to the door but they're not security and I wouldn't put myself on offer either as a staff member. If you don't want to lose stock, get a security guard as an deterrent- it would ease the stress on the staff!! Other than that, the staff that are there are friendly and helpful and do a good job of multi tasking!”
-
