I rang the garage for a quotation and Rajiv who answered the phone suggested that I bring the car in so he could examine it properly on the ramp before giving a quotation. I took the car in and the final bill was £2.78 for the part and £40 for labour!! I had been quoted over £300 by another garage. How refreshing not to be ripped off by garages who charge for unnecessary work. I shall certainly be using these guys again and will be recommending them to family and friends. “Very recently I had purchased a car with the goal of it being sent across Europe to Ukraine, more specifically the brave men and women currently fighting at the frontline of the war in Ukraine. Before I sent this car on the long cross-continent journey, I needed to ensure that it was in tip-top shape, and it came to my attention that windscreen needed to be changed. I decided to look up any local businesses that deal could help me with this problem, and stumbled across these guys, whom I ultimately contacted due to how local they were to me. If I could give an infinite number of stars to this business, I would. First and foremost, I was extremely impressed and surprised that they managed to get the correct windscreen glass so promptly (it was quite a specific request I had for quite a specific car) - I had only called them the evening before I drove up for the change, so honestly was expecting to be told that I'd have to wait a couple of days, as I'd been told by other businesses, but I was pleasantly surprised when they informed me that they would be able to fulfil my request on the spot. Furthermore, they had provided me with the cheapest quote, which is also always quite pleasant to hear - we had agreed on £180. I had gotten around to talking to the guys working there, and we ended up discussing my plans on transporting the car to Ukraine to help the war effort after they'd so expertly changed the windscreen. I was stunned when the workers waived the fees for the quick, high-quality work they had done on the car. For a business to survive, of course, it needs to make a profit. However, it's always important for there to be an element of humanity and charity. And that is what I was greeted with at My Car Glass Windscreen. Their humanity touched me, and I want to thank them again for the incredible work that they put into that vehicle I'd rolled in. Know that your work is out there at the moment, doing good. “My local garage recommended me to get the Mechanics at Nudgematics to get them to run their diagnostics machine on my ford focus as the powertrain warning light had come on and they were the nearest garage that had the appropriate equipment. However the day after it did not come up again but I decided to go there for peace of mind. They took my car for a test drive after they did the diagnostics as no fault but still advised me what to get looked at on my next service.
