“I was recommended this place by a friend and drove from Essex and must say no regrets! Must try the samosa’s and the spicy crispy chicken! Loved it! Very clean and friendly service and defo a place I would recommend to all wanting a good Indian restaurant with a twist!”

“Went in late Dec for a meal with my wife. The ambience is quite in your face so if you like a quiet restaurant, maybe here is not for you but they play nice music and it's not so loud you can't talk. Food portions are huge, which we appreciated! Ordered the shared platter for two with a lovely bottle of Greek wine. Waiters were pleasant enough. It's not fancy but it is honest, solid food (and a ton of it), with a robust party atmosphere! It's not cheap but it's also not expensive either. I'd go back.”

“Steven & Jo at O Vesu Van provided the pizzas for the evening meal at my wedding, and so many of my guests proclaimed them to be the best pizzas they’ve ever tasted! So so amazing. They were also prompt with replying to emails, on time on the day and couldn’t have worked harder to pump out the pizzas. Couldn’t fault them!”

“I am still wondering how is possible that komakai can deliver such an outstanding quality being a take away sushi business. Yes, you read correctly. We all know that sushi is not cheap. We also know that it is pretty hard to find a trustable sushi bar/restaurant. In London or where ever... I know about fish quality because my parents are fishmongers in Barcelona (enough said). And when you think your found one pretty acceptable then the bill arrives to the table and the price do not match with the quality delivered. That has been my main surprise with komakai. If you had this sushi served in a restaurant, the bill will be over £200 for 2 people’s dinner. Yes, £200! Please don’t take my advice for granted. Give it a go and you will be as pleasantly surprised as me. If you are lucky enough to live in south east London (or making a big enough order and further delivery can be considered) try Komakai. Check the pics in Instagram (komakaisushilondon) they speak by them self. Check my pics taken at home. Even my cat (Neo) realised about it! Bon appetite!!”

“I eat out every day. So I know quality over quantity. This little Italian restaurant always delivers high quality food and an experience. Only criticism I would have never known it’s there. I literally went in there by accident to try something new and I loved the food so much I haven’t stopped going back. I’ve eaten at this place for a good few years now. “Lovely family feel , they get to know the regulars . Lovely food and they always aim above the norm when your after the kinda food your looking for . Delivery guys are so polite , I always tip them . Food is great , I'm still hooked on certain things from the menu , wish I could diverse , but the food is so tasty and satisfying . Only thing I wish they would do is BOMBAY DUCK . For me then , it would be perfect.”

“Really nice little restaurant. Street parking available around the area. Was a bit apprehensive at first, as they were selling both, Chinese and Japanese cuisine, as we had gone there predominantly for sushi. Needless to say, the food was GREAT!!! The guy that served our table was brilliant. Friendly, attentive, and always at hand. Definitely on my list of favourite restaurants!”

“My nearest Indian restaurant that happens to be best in Sidcup and I've tried them all. Looks like an average restaurant from outside but go in and order to experience the difference. They have an extensive menu with both standard and special dishes but what I really like is the staff's willingness to customise their dishes on request. The menu stands up well against Central London gourmet restaurants like Dishoom and Chutney Mary. Normally have a weekly takeaway with occasional dining in. Highly recommended.”
