“The best Vietnamese food in the Wandsworth. Lots of options. All noodle dishes are huge in portions and very delicious. Very quick service almost every time. Drinks are delicious as well. Prices are very good. I have been eating there countless times and I highly recommend it.”
The Dumpling House
“The Dumpling House is a small yet busy restaurant, because of how amazing the food is. Authentic Korean cuisine, cooked by a wonderful chef that really enjoys caring for her customers.”
Bui Vien Restaurant
“A lovely quaint restaurant. Very well decorated. Good service and the food was delicious. Definitely an unexpectedly good night with good vibes.”
鑫锴 Xin Kai Restaurant
“Xin Kai our new local Chinese restaurant. We went for the first time to check it out. Food was delicious, I loved the menu which has large pictures that are really helpful with making your choice. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. We will definitely be going back.”
Turpan Uyghur restaurant
“A serene quiet atmosphere, calm. Food was delicious, loved the spices. The meat used in the steamed buns, samsa and soup have a very similar great taste, just know that if you want variet. The top two dishes were the Pilaf and Soup. Closely followed by Samsa. Pilaf had great texture, rice was interestingly sweet and meat melted Soup with meat dumplings had an aromatic smell, it was light but filling All the food had a homey flavor like your grandmother made it. Would definitely visit again.”
Roti Brothers
“Great little find. Really tasty south fried chicken burger, very good size, chicken breast not thigh, with a very tasty sauce. Fries were super crispy and huge for such a cheap price. Such good value. And the staff were super friendly as well. Definitely check it out if you're in the area.”
Bánh Bánh Cafe Brixton
“Great spot for some authentic Vietnamese food. Food is fresh and their Pho has a very flavoursome and rich quality to it. They also have quite a range of dishes with lots of new innovative options on their specials board. Worth a visit if you are in the area.”
Mien Tay 5 Restaurant
“I've seen many people walk into this place mistaking it for Chinese. Mien Tay 5 is the most authentic Vietnamese restaurant I've come across in London. They don't do all street food must the ones they do almost take me back to Saigon. The phố and bún bò Huế spicy noodle soup broth is really good along with most starters. Oh and the mango salad is so yummmmm”
Viet Anh Pho
“Very friendly staff, good service. My boyfriend says the pho soup is a bit light and doesn’t suit his tastes. £10.80 for a large portion isn’t bad. Overall 6/10 but may come back for the rice dishes. The pork banh mi was really tasty.”
Sen Restaurant
“Lovely new restaurant in Surrey Quays that have an amazing 2 course lunchtime deal! Summer rolls, salt chilli crispy tofu, beef stew and chicken curry was our order and it was so unbelievably tasty! Their Vietnamese coffee is by far the best one we’ve had in London!”
Mum Likes Thai Food (Restaurant/Takeaway/Bethnal Green)
“Cute neighbourhood restaurant. You know it's good when they have repeat customers, I heard 'it's nice to see you again' lots of times while I ate. There's meat, fish and vege/vegan options. The food was great. I left full! The service was friendly. The price is good. I plan to be one of those repeat diners!”
Panda dim sum Cafe
“Took my son for his birthday to try Dim sum as he wanted too so badly. We absolutely loved our meal tasted fantastic the staff was so nice and friendly seems like a family run place, i was really genuinely impressed with everything. To top it up as we paid the lovely lady brought a gift to my son for his birthday and a hand written card . Touch of class thank you so much panda staff for a delicious meal and a nice time .”
Viet Viand
“We had dinner here yesterday! Absolutely loved it! Generous servings, home cooked meals and very friendly staff. We had beef brisket pho and satay chicken for main which are both very tasty, but the highlight of the night for me was the mixed starters of prawn toast, satay skewers, spring rolls and ribs - postios were very generous, everything tasty and was not oily at all unlike other shops. Will definitely come back to try the clay pot dishes and maybe the buffet too!”
Ma Ma's Nepalese Kitchen
“Amazing experience and restaurant. The staff recommended us some dishes and everything was delicious, especially the Himalaya chicken. We will come back for sure.”
RAJAH ROWING (CLAPHAM KITCHEN)
“It’s the best Indian takeaway food I have ever tried and the people who work in there is amazing! Every time I come in they are welcoming and happy to see you ! Lots of companies need to learn from them about customer service. Shame my partner doesn’t eat coriander as I need and some time I need to loose on full flavours:)”
Khun Pakin Thai
“This was GREAT! Check their Instagram for the proper Thai menu. Very generous portions. Highly spicy. Beef soup very tender, super flavour. Hard to find raw prawns and huge too.”
Val's Thai
“Now ordered a takeaway from here twice and I am so impressed! Quick delivery on the time requested, reasonably priced and the tastiest Thai food I’ve had! I also have dietary requirements so really appreciate the allergens written on the website. Would definitely recommend!”
Rosa's Thai Greenwich
“Love, love, love this place and cannot wait till I go back! The food is super tasty and everything is fairly priced. The waiting staff are lovely too. A bit chilly sitting near the door during winter but that is my only minor complaint. Great restaurant!”
Lotus House
“I live somewhere else now and obviously I’ve tried many Chinese takeaways in Britain and around the world and nothing compares to this take away! I’ve had it since I was a kid, the food is always tasty, their spicy squid with chilli and salt is amazing, no other Chinese makes it like they do. The lady who runs the restaurant is also one of the most lovely, attentive person. Truly recommend this place!”
Chow's Express
“What a Gem! I was recommended this place by a mate. They must be the friendliest Chinese takeaway in London. The kitchen is completely open so you can see your meal being cooked while you wait. Most importantly the food is excellent quality with generous portions. This is my new favourite Chinese takeaway. Many thanks to the Chow team.”
Sichuan PoPo 婆婆面
“Good food. But the place is too small. Can get busy quickly. The noodle is great. Wished the portion is bigger. Slightly spicy but I think most would deem it at acceptable level. I would not mind to go back if the place is not busy.”
Pearl China
“Pearl China makes fantastic food, I do not think I’ve had one dish from there which I disliked. Very accommodating for vegetarian diets too! The staff are very friendly, and portion sizes are good”
Sichuan PoPo 婆婆面
“Tasty, generous portions of Sichuanese classics. Efficient, friendly service and decent prices. Cannot ask for more. Nice to see such places now a bit more scattered around London so this region's food is more accessible.”
Master Wei Xi'An
“Very tasty regional Chinese food. The staff were friendly and attentive. I'll definitely go again the next time I'm in London. The pictures are, the noodles: number 40, 岐山臊子汤面 and the sandwich/burger: number 26, 腊汁肉夹馍”
Penang Satay House
“Fantastic service, brilliant food, and lovely people. Our family have been coming here for years, and I highly recommend visiting Satay House. I recommend lobak, crispy tofu, any of the beautiful yellow curries (the prawn is my favourite), and crispy noodles too from the mains. The gadoh-gadoh in peanut sauce, chicken satay and spring rolls satay are fantastic too from the starters.”
Great Wall
“Chinese lad at the counter 10/10 service quite polite. Good food I recommend the sweet and sour chicken 10/10 would buy again. Ate at the new world takeaway the other day and found this much better. Btw I got my suit dirty and got it dry cleaned at ash-dry cleaner and got it back at the same day.”
Indo chinese ilford
“Great tasting and fresh food. Good customer service n they always cater to my request.”
Marugame Udon / 丸亀製麺 Brent Cross
“First visit today, not busy as it was near closing time. We had the Two Pork Tonkotsu and Chicken Paitan. Staff were all friendly, nice and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere. The Udon is absolutely delicious and freshly made. We didn't have to add any condiments as the flavour were perfect for us. Truly enjoyable. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.”
Monohon Ramen
“The best Ramen I've tried for many years, the bone broth was deep, creamy and delicious, the noodles had a lovely chewy, firmness to them. Make sure you add the soft-boiled egg that was seasoned to perfection. Partner had the vegan option that she loved. Slightly higher price than places using long life noodles, but the queue outside before they opened says it all.”
Asian Mini Mart
“I collect my parcels there, very convenient. Also sell all kinds of lovely chinese/Asian sauces foods spices you name it they have it, always come away with something. Very good prices too !”
