“I would not hesitate to let sherry board my dog. At the moment she goes to playgroup for dogs one morning a week, and she loves it. Sherry is a very kind and responsible person, and I feel completely at ease leaving my dog with her. The play area is completely fenced in, and perfectly safe. I highly recommend cherished pets of Brentwood”

“I went here on a Saturday night to catch up with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, something people forget to appreciate. The food was as expected my only criticism was the menu was varied but items that were a particular type of meal weren't varied enough, the calzone had two options? They tasted great but would have liked a few different flavours.”

He immediately reassured me and set my mind at rest. The treatment was very thorough and he explained everything so I didn’t panic. “Travelled from London to Essex to get Brazilian keratin blow dry here as was recommend by a friend! I have frizzy curly hair and when I got to the salon they did a detailed explanation of what would happen and what service was the best for outcome I wanted. They did offer hair Botox which is similar but keeps the curls but I wanted it straight for now and might try hair Botox after! It’s my second wash now and my hair is the straightest sleekest it’s ever been! I’ve had a few done in London before but my mate was right when she said this is the best place for keratin treatment”

“Had stacey their new stylist and she was fab. Lovely lady and really looked after me. She's really got her finger on the pulse when it comes to having something different or new colours as I like something a little bit different. Will defo go again...who knows what I might have next time!. I'm sure she's just as good at the conventional aswell. Stacey really seems to know what's she's doing and I had a great experience.”

She such a nice person to talk to, cared about you and didnt just get you in the seat and take 10 minutes then push you out the door, talked about how my hair would look and how to style it, gave advice and just made my experience the very best I've had. See you in 4 weeks!”

“I visited this restaurant with a client for the first time,this week. A wonderful gem, in a small village. Excellent food and service, extremely good wine and the chef/owner an absolute gentlemen with a great sense of humour. I live in France and have to say, one of the finest meals I have had anywhere.”

“What a beautiful experience, from start to finish me and my family were treated less like customers and more like... Family. The excellent service was complimented by authentic and delicious Italian food. There were a couple of order miscommunications, but they were resolved quickly and comfortably. Whilst it was a little noisy at first, this was quickly drowned out by a beautiful musical performance from a solo artist creating a unique experience I didn't think could be found in Brentwood. 3 courses with drinks for just £30ish per head for a group of 5, I can't wait to come back. I cannot express how helpful the staff were in arranging the booking and arranging for dietary requirements and on the day how friendly and helpful they all were. The afternoon tea was so lovely and the atmosphere at Marygreen Manor was warm and so Christmassy. Would definitely recommend coming here for any special occasion. “The Drill opened its doors again today and I just popped over for a couple of drinks and a meal, both of which were excellent! I can't wait to sample the whole menu in the future. The new and old staff were super friendly and the manager Wayne was very welcoming and was clearly running a well oiled machine. Their social distancing measures seemed to be working well and it felt like a safe environment to relax in. Being a pub garden fan though I was most impressed with their refurbished garden - outstanding! See you again soon!”

It's a propa old pub with some characters in there. Staff were so friendly (a special thanks to the lady that booked my daughter under 'princess') Really warm welcoming and friendly pub plus the food was excellent.
