BYO
● Closed21-23 Tooting High Street, London SW17 0SN, United Kingdom“Best shop in Tooting Market. A chance for everyone to put their green hats on and say bye bye to the needless plastic waste that the so called green supermarkets (Sainsbury's, Lidl, Tesco) force us to buy. You can bring any container to refill or buy their own there. It has a great selection and the staff are all helpful and can assist if afraid that you'll spill everything on the floor. Would love to see some more herbs and spices for refill!!”

Eleana’s Bistro
● Open5 High Street, Hampton Wick, Kingston Upon Thames KT1 4DA, United Kingdom“I’ve been lucky enough to go to Eleana’s a few times now - and every time has been outstanding. Delicious dinners, beautiful brunches, cracking cocktails. Slow-cooked lamb; dripping with flavour. Perfectly poached eggs; oozing with yolk. Fabulous French Toast; exploding with flavour and texture. I highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The decor is subtle and classy. The owners kind and attentive. The food tasty and from the heart. Give it a go if you’re in the area; you won’t be disappointed.”

The Little Coffee Shop
● Open“Absolutely the best coffee shop around. Food is great, there are always a selection of freshly homemade cakes and treats plus a couple of quality savory items to chose from. The coffee drinks are excellent, they rival any of the great independent coffee shops in central London. The best thing about this place is the way it feels. It’s only little (as the name says) but it has a warm, lovely, homey, authentic vibe. (In normal times) there’s always a rotating crowd of people at the tables inside and outside, chatting and enjoying their neighborhood. When I moved to the area I found it hard to get know people but I always felt welcome here, wound up meeting the owners and lots of other patrons and got to learn a little more about the area thanks to the owners’ commitment to engaging with the wider community. Although they have been delivery only for the Covid period the tasty treats and warm vibes are still present. I can’t wait to be back in the shop again soon!”

Crespidia
● Closed48 Anerley Hill, London SE19 2AE, United Kingdom“3 of us discovered this hidden gem on Anerly Hill today. At first you're met with a visual array of eclectic vintage items. Dotted around are lots of gifts to buy and as you study the space, this becomes more apparent. It feels like someone's front room and you begin to feel at ease. Then we were met with a fantastic menu of many enticing dishes. We opted for Buttermilk pancakes with natural yoghurt, maple syrup and berries, scrambled egg & crispy bacon on sour dough and homemade brioche French toast with bacon, banana and maple syrup. We had lattes and flat white coffee which. All were devourer and not a complaint was heard from any of us! We then spied the vast selection of home baked goodies and we decided to take home: Flourintine, blonde brownie, orange polenta cake and a huge coconut macaroon. We are discussing what to have the next time we go. Part of me wants to keep Crespidia to myself but it's really too good not to share! Visit, you won't be disappointed.”

Artful Blend
● Open“I went to this cafe with high expectations, after having read very positive reviews. I share similar views-the place is a must if you are in the neighborhood! I ordered cappuccino and, following the recommendation of the lady who was in the counter, pistacio croissant. Both of them were fantastic! I visited the place again the next day and i was equally satisfied. I had a little chat with the owners at the end and they were friendly and smiling. I am sorry that i was in a rush during my last day and i missed the chance to enjoy it for one more time-next time!”
