Firuzzi Art & Travel
● Closed“Traveling is about making amazing memories and Aleksandra created experiences that made for a trip of a lifetime for us. Her knowledge of the the places we toured, the history, the art, the food and the people helped us see and experience so much more than we expected. It's the treasures and little things that made us feel at home in a city nearly 10,000 miles from home. This is a must, amazing deep tours with lots of stories and fun! Aleksandra organized a tour program to Saint Petersburg for us and this was an absolutely special trip. She took such good care of us we felt relaxed, comfortable and happy because everything had just been taken care of. Honestly, we stayed in touch with Aleksandra and can’t wait to join one of her next trips. Can’t recommend more, lots of interesting stories and fun are guaranteed. She is bright light in the world of travel. She is a joy and a rare find in the world of travel. We are looking forward to many more adventures together.”

Noire Ink London
● Closed“After deciding to get a half sleeve as my first tattoo I found it hard to decide on the right studio. That is until I came across Noire Ink and their team of highly professional artists. I instantly fell in love with their art styles and knew from the second I saw some of their artists work that I made the right choice. Thank you to Jastein, one of their resident artists for this beautiful piece of art. Its been a long 10+ years of trying to decide on a design and he's done a fantastic job. I couldn't be any happier with the results. I highly recommend checking them out if you're ever in the market for a new tattoo. You won't be disappointed!”

Deity Tattoo London
● Closed38 The Oval, London E2 9DT, United Kingdom“By far the most amazing tattoo experience. Angel is just such a gentle and amazing artist. I had a mandala, jewelry lotus flower piece on my forearm. The studio: Easy to locate and very clean and open. There is a sense of tranquility from the moment you step in. Business communication: Everything was communicated clearly and promptly so there were never any doubts about anything. The Experience: I pre-booked and received my design in advance and it came out even better than imagined. Went to the studio for the session and was welcomed in with open arms and a nice cup of herbal tea. Angel was very knowledgeable and professional, nothing was rushed. She is a very gentle tattooer and I managed to get through the whole session with no breaks or pain. There was room for casual conversation and more importantly there was room just to be and get immersed in the experience. I would highly recommend Angel for a tattoo and hopefully, someday, I will get another piece done.”

art-K Ashtead Ltd.
● Closed“My 11 year old daughter has been attending Art-K for approx 3 years. She loves it. She's always liked art but it's now a passion. She's not overly keen on outside school commitments but Art-K is priority number 1. Kathryn is already laying the groundwork in place to prepare her for an art scholarship. Her school have picked up it too and placed her in an art scholarship group. Thank you for recognising and nurturing her talent, Kathryn. We are all sincerely grateful. Pete”

Inkhouse London
● Closed“Could not have had a better experience getting my first piercings at InkHouse. Spoke to KJ a couple weeks before I could get it done to discuss options. He talked me through the process and what to expect on the day and aftercare wise. They found kept a bar that was exactly what I was after for when I turned up on the day, which shows you how much they care about their customers. I was totally comfortable during the piercing (helix and earlobe). They didn’t rush me out the door at all, which is what I gather other studios do. I’ve had to go in a couple times since for aftercare queries, and they’ve been just as great. If I’m getting any other piercings, they’ll be done here!”

The Circle London
● Closed“Haven't met any of the tattooists, but I can't say enough good things about Rhianna and Elin, the piercing team. I've had 9 piercings with them so far and more planned. They always provide a 5 star service: friendly, helpful, happy to answer questions and talk everything through. Never rush or push you if you're unsure. After care service for 2 which swelled more than usual was amazing (and free!). Nothing is too much trouble for them. I've been to piercing places who clearly don't have your best interests at heart, but I believe they definitely do. Piercings can go badly wrong so it is absolutely worth paying for the best possible service. Goes without saying everything is super clean and hygienic. The reception staff are all really nice and helpful as well, even when it's really busy.”

I learnt a lot in 2 short weeks and Phew. The other staff are great. Nina Hunt in the Short Course unit was so helpful and nice. Maureen in the Sewing department was so helpful and went above and beyond. Great place to study. Will definitely look at doing another course there. Ikwo 2015”

Sang Bleu Tattoo London
● Closed“This is a world-renowned tattoo shop in the heart of Dalston. My first time here with long time tattooist and friend Jethro Wood. Started a new big piece, to which I was nervous for. Jethro is calming, kind and reassuring from start to finish. We had breaks when I needed, stopped for refreshments and powered through. Clean and crisps outlines, great clarity of composition and bold striking colours were the end result of a piece ill treasure forever. Jethro is so patient and kind, helped me to stay calm and helped ensure it was as painless an experience as possible. I can't wait to get another tattoo Jethro is a master of his craft, and regardless of the piece you are after, he hits a home run every single time. Highly recommended”

National Trust - Osterley Park and House
● Closed“What a lovely place! We live so close but never actually visited. The kids all loved it!! Lovely paths and tracks as well as some good off-road walks/paths through fields and small wooded areas! The terrain all round is reasonably flat so easy to get round with a pram or junior bicycles and even easier for larger bikes or scooters. There is a a nice coffee shop which serves a good range of drinks and snacks/bites and the prices are reasonable. There is also a lovely seated area with plenty of benches just outside. Handy toilets are also close by - just be aware of timings. One surprise was the pretty cool bike track which has some good turns and undulations which is suitable for all ages - even with stabilisers!! Car park has plenty of space and again fixed pricing is reasonable, whether you want to visit for a couple of hours or spend the entire day! Really enjoyable, relaxing and highly recommended. We will definitely be visiting again.”

Japan House London
● Closed“Wonderful space arranged over three floors. It is open to the public and free to visit. The main street level area has a coffee bar and a mix of exhibits and products for sale. The first floor is a restaurant and bar. And the basement level is an exhibition space and micro library. The staff are friendly and helpful.”

Guildhall Art Gallery
● Closed“This was the first Art gallery I went to in London and I loved every minute of it. It was on a quiet morning so I had time to pore over pieces and explore every nook I had access to. I think I ended up spending about two hours in all. I relish every minute of it. I even got to see the ruin of the Roman amphitheatre and Londonderry. The pieces have rich histories behind them, some are displayed together. The staff are also helpful when asked.”
-
Fine Line Tattoos London
● Closed“Math is the best tattoo artist I know. I made a mistake of getting tattoos elsewhere but I learned the hard way I should never try to find another tattoo artist. I've recommended him to my friends and 100% of them were happy with the final result. If you are looking for a highly skilled and super friendly tattoo artist look no further.”

London Transport Museum
● Closed“An informative and enjoyable museum full of London’s rich history of transportation. It took a little over an hour to go through everything and it was great. They have some actual historical vehicles in the museum and you really gain an appreciation for the evolution of how we got to where we are today. The staff was also great, with the lady making sure we only bought the cheaper ticket relevant to tourists.”

OXO Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie
● Closed“We enjoyed the experience at OXO for my husband's birthday. I looked for numerous rooftop places that would also cater to a 2 year old. Luckily OXO was one of the only ones that seemed to have a Kids menu. Our server Ali made the experience all the more memorable. He was friendly and available when we needed anything for my son. The food was wonderful, and the cocktails were also worth it. On a balmy day in London it was really worth the visit. Loved the meal we ordered. Limited options for vegetarians but for fish lovers and meat lovers food was great, however it is pricey.”
